Issue isn't what we got for Middleton but what we didn't get by not trading him when his value was higher. Canceled my League Pass today and won't pay another dime unless Butler or another needle-mover is on his way by tomorrow by 2 p.m.

If Midds plays 25-28 mins in the playoffs he won't last more than 2 games.

That’s **** bull and this trade is worse than we traded Ray Allen

Come off the ledge my man. Not even close.

We just traded our second least athletic player for an athletic player on a team full of dinosaurs. If we can move Lopez in a deal, we instantly become 10x more athletic which is one of our biggest issues.

Well, we'll find out if Khris is redirected to Cleveland, & helps guide them to a run, quite possibly thru us.

Has anyone seen Barrett? Someone might have to talk him off a ledge:

Lol come on bro. I’m puzzled myself but comparing this to the Ray Allen trade is just your frustrations getting the best of you right now. It’s not even in the same stratosphere as bad as that was.

Might be good to log off for awhile. What a silly statement

Really Kuzma sucks as a player nobody but us are trading for him and we gave up our 1st rd pick this yr besides Middleton who is a player even after getting both ankles surgery on. Payton at least use to be a great player something Kuzma never will be.

But..........we didn't give up Ray Allen here. We very likely gave up nothing.

Wizards are the ones seeing addition by subtraction with Kuzma. He's been their tank commander for 3.5 years

Punting the season would have been keeping Khris and through nothing but naive, blind faith, thinking his body was gonna magically hold up for a long playoff campaign. That simply wasn't an option anymore.

Furthermore, punting is often the obvious and smart move.

For the record, I wouldn’t have done this deal, like at all. But is there a single fan here who doesn’t think we were too old, too slow to win a ship? I couldn’t handle another Packers series as a fan and that’s why I think we have to move Brook too.

It's certainly possible that Doc and the owners are working around Horst at this point but until we get actual reporting or info on something like that Horst has the GM title.

I'm sure many will disagree, but the beginning of the end was winning the title. We were a weak title winner, and the trophy tricked us into thinking we were better than we were. We were a KD jumper away from going down 0-3 to the Nets, a Nets without Harden and who lost Kyrie one game later. Lose that series, and the changes would've been wholesale. Then the Hawks were one of, if not the worst conference finals team in the last 25 years. Suns were a legitimately good team but far from a juggernaut.

Losing in 7 to Boston without Khris just tricked us again. I thought Boston was clearly the better team and a healthy Khris would not have made a difference. Then we lose Giannis against the Heat and get tricked again (Boston beat us by about 100 points at home a few weeks before). Then we lose Giannis and Dame against the Pacers to give us another reason to "run it back."

But look at the underlying numbers even when everyone was healthy. We had a 3 year sample of good, and sometimes very good, but not great basketball. We never really recovered our level pre-Covid level of just smashing teams.

I strongly agree. Trading Jrue and/or Midds summer of 2021 was an obvious move even at the time, but they didn't have the balls (and i wouldn't have either) to trade them at the time and the Olympics didn't help either. Jrue isnt what we needed from a 2/3 on a huge contract and midds never lined up with Giannis's prime.

Insanely, nakedly bad move. A crime against the Bucks. The ONE thing that goes really right for the Bucks in tooo long, a draft pick pans out, and Horst just throws it away? For *what* exactly. And HIDES the giveaway of our best asset beneath the why-bother Khris/Kyle shiny sideshow distraction that doesn't address what needs fixing. What is going on. Horst is gonna pay for this for yeeeeeaars.

Khris has actually been a very positive player this year, his body just isn't going to hold up. Sorry to burst your victory lap bubble
