Detroit front office has not been happy w/ the development o Knight and are looking for an upgrade at PG. Jennings to Detroit talks are real

Hmm, Woelfel may have gotten one right.

Well why the hell do we want him if even Detroit thinks he sucks?

:-?

Could just be a matter of getting something for a guy the Bucks don't ever want in the locker room again.

It'd be pretty hilarious to trade Jennings for a worse PG prospect. Like I said, I'd take Knight, but not because he helps us win. It's just getting a young cheap piece over nothing. JH probably thinks he helps us win though. This is the guy who took Ellis over Curry.

Buy low on a very young former top 10 pick would be my guess. If we're just giving up Jennings, why not take a flyer. I'd be surprised if Hammond wants to trade Jennings in the division though.

Hmmmm. I bet Jennings and a top 10 first nets us Rondo. Of course that would murder us if he's not healthy.

Because of Ridnour and Wolters, I would be willing to take a guy like Knight. Let Luke run the point for the season and see how the young guys play.

Knight, Singler, 2014 1st round pick, Rodney Stuckey for Jennings, Udoh, two 2nd round picks

Didn't Woeful say it was Stuckey?

Why would anyone consider that?? :-o

Rondo is good, but he's no spring chicken anymore, much less coming off an ACL tear.

I don't know that he's a worse "prospect" or are you referring to the "PG" aspect of it?

I guess in Knight I see a bigger, stronger and younger guy with only two years in. Look at Teague and how he took off in years 3 and 4.

I'd actually be quite happy with Jennings for Knight. Overall I think this off-season has been terrible. And this isn't a stellar move either. That said, we'd at least be "buying" low on a young, young guy with potential. Of course we should have done this first with Bledsoe, but that is another story.

Because we think Jennings sucks more? It's a trash for trash trade and we think our trash smells more than their's. I'd be more than happy with a deal like this though. Knight is younger so maybe he turns a corner and becomes a valuable asset. If not, you still don't have to ever see Jennings in a Bucks uniform ever again. And it would help the tank, which should be priority #1 (though I know it isn't as far as our front office is concerned).

has any thought been made to trading Jennings for that elusive SF instead of another PG ? Harris is still available as a FA . I think I'd rather have Ridnour starting at PG with a solid SF than have Stuckey, Ridnour and Wolters all sharing time at PG and no quality SF!

Apparently Woelfel told WSSP he heard two of the three guys he talked to mention "Stuckey".

Probably means we want Knight but will settle for Stuckey.

Total no brainer for the Bucks. No way Detroit does that.

Those that would be fine with Knight are those in the camp that he sucks (which is good for losing more) but there's still a chance he gets better.

I'd be less enthused with Stuckey. If he plays like he did last year he'd also be a lose-more kind of player, but he was also solid for a couple seasons.

By the way, Hammond is dealing with his friend Dumars. This likely means that even if we end up losing the trade, there will be a trade since Hammond has a personal relationship with the other GM.

Things "present themselves" more with old friends.

Knight is 2 years younger, bigger, longer, more athletic, and he did get a 4.0 in college so maybe he is a kid with his **** together and not a moody head case. He still has the chance to break out into something more although he probably wont. If we could get him back and a pick and filler in exchange for BJ, I would be ok with it. Its certainly a much better return than Stuckey.
