We're bad enough on defense.

There's three very different levels:
Guys who think AJJ is borderline untradable and will be a key contributor (would be upset if we gave him up in a Murray trade and lament why we couldn't throw in rolo instead even if not realistic)
Like AJJ but realize he's an old rookie with clear flaws. If you need to put him in a trade for rotational piece, you get it done
Think AJJ sucks and would throw him in.

I think majority are in the middle. I think people on either side are crazy

I love me some AJs but Murray is hitting game winners like Dame so I'd part with them for that level of guy.

Maybe it's not coming from our FO, potentially all the teams we are talking to.

Yeah, definitely coming from elsewhere, IMO. We're talking to everyone it seems, so it was bound to happen.

Count me as one who doesn't think Murray fits with Dame and Giannis. He needs the ball to be effective.

Are any of the tweets from reputable sources or just standard Twitter garbage?

No. But I do think he's better, obviously far more dynamic facing up, better laterally. Makes more sense for us.

Giannis and Dame don't "fit" together either, neither did Dame and McCollum so I don't see any reason why it couldn't work. Simply its about stealing value and upgrading talent whenever possible, Bucks core is too old unathletic overpaid and with far fewer sands in the hourglass than we all hoped for. Murray is a former all star PG in his prime, locked up on a fair contract, its such a no brainer. This team needs TALENT not just some rando defensive swingman, the team isn't that close and needs to focus on the future. I don't think Murray lessens our chances this year at all and he definitely is better going forward. Its just such a no brainer, its crazy people will talk themselves into Grant Williams who isn't even a starter in this league or all time low IQ no motor guys like Andrew Wiggins over a legitimate allstar player like Murray.

Great. 2 more guys who can't play defense.

The sport is called basketball , not defenseball ... regardless

Brogdon > Beasley
Merrill > Payne (maybe similar)
Thon > Rolo

Wiggins and Saric for Portis, Pat, and Beau works. If you can somehow get a pick too, to grab Drummond or Kris Dunn even better but the 27 2nd rd pick should be enough. Maybe Wiggins stock isn't that bad.

Wiggins is still young and can go back to being the 3rd/4th option. His release is much faster than Portis so he can shot a lot of the 3s Bobby turns down or drive to the basket quickly and finish. Defensively, he fills a huge void providing length, athleticism, and strength to give Giannis a partner. If Giannis can turn it on in the playoffs like he did against Durant all you need is a Wiggins to help him with the wings in the East

Murray would be best followed by Wiggins. Not particularly excited by anyone else, as less excited i was last year with Jae for whom Horst gave 5 second rounders, and has been totally unimpressive 2 years in a row.
