Everything I've found online makes it seem like Tellem isn't releasing Embiid's medical records to anyone. I haven't seen a specific statement which indicates that Embiid doesn't want to play in Milwaukee.

I don't think there is one. Just speculation, can't imagine that Cleveland is any more attractive the Milwaukee. LA doesn't pick until #7 and these guys aren't going to want to fall that far.

We need to just take him if he's there at 2. Screw the back issues, I want a hall of famer.

That doesn't count the 56 second rounders they have. No terrible contacts either, they are $28M under the cap counting their 1st. Team has a great future.

Hinkie had a plan and he executed it to perfection. Give these young guys 3 years together and start surrounding them with premier FA's with all that cap space and you have a perennial contender. I'd trade spots with them today in a heart beat.

I wouldn't. Giannis is by far the best prospect on either team imo. The only edge Philly has is cap room, which is important for sure, but I still like our situation better.

As predicted, the "Joel Embiid draft" is finally happening.

I'm usually all about bigs, but I'm struggling with Embiid. While I think he could be a top 3 center eventually, I think he's a long ways away from that.

My biggest concern, however, and I'm sure it's not shocking is the injuries. I'm trying to come up with one young big man with injury concerns so early that overcame them and it wasn't a major problem in his career. Anyone?

Stop struggling. We won't have a chance to take him. It has been clear that this would be his draft, despite all the flack some took for stating that he was head and shoulders above the rest, it is finally now happening. I look forward to most people changing their boards in the coming weeks.

By the way, that goes for people like Chad Ford too.

I think my worst-case scenario now is Cleveland taking Embiid followed by us taking Parker and 76ers then snatching Wiggins at 3. Whoever the Cavs pass up on of the Kansas duo we have to pick. Wiggins or Embiid. NOT Parker. Parker should go 3rd. Exum should go 4th.

Wiggins may end up #4 on my board. As it's been for months, (1) Embiid, (2-4) Parker, Wiggins, Exum in some order, subject to change.

My only hope at this point is that Parker is highly impressive leading up to the draft, and the Cavs feel the need to "win now", take him to play the 3. I think it's very unlikely but that's the hope I'm clinging to.

Wiggins scares me. He doesn't have the "superstar" personality (actually quite dull), doesn't have the killer mentality of a Kobe whereas Parker does. Not sure Wiggins wants to be a star but damn sure that Embiid and Parker do.

I'm picking Embiid at 1 and Parker at 2.

You tell me Parker is Paul Pierce and I say thank you very much, I'll take it.

Wiggins to me is too much of a risk. Athletic freak who plays D but will he be able to put a team on his back offensively?

We all talked about needing to pair an alpha scorer with Giannis. You get your wish with Jabari.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Of all the Wiggins criticisms this one is the one that pisses me off.

Yeah, not a surprise. Just because he looks great today doesn't mean there aren't still back issues. But, man, all those local talking heads claiming "I'd rather have #2 than #1" might end up looking more ridiculous than they already do. If thats even possible.
