I know some of you guys loved Monroe but trust me, it was only because our other bigs were total crap. He has a place in the right team but he will never come anywhere near the money we paid him again.

As people have already stated, the Bucks cannot resign Monroe nor can they claim him off of waivers.

From the CBA:

Article VII, Section 3.

(h) If a Team trades a player and the assignee Team subsequently places the player on waivers, the assignor Team shall not be permitted to sign the player to a new Contract (or claim the player off of waivers) before the earlier of: (i) one (1) year following the date all conditions to the trade were satisfied; or (ii) the July 1 following the last Season of the player’s Player Contract.

Speaking of former Bucks that we miss, sucks that Monroe won't even be an option for a return. I was looking forward to when he'd become available, even if there were a few better directions to go in at this point.

Celtics will be a good destination for Greg. He should out-play Baynes in practice. I think he had his number in games. And if his defense has regressed this year beyond just not being motivated to play for Phoenix, Stevens should be able to hide him.
