Yeah, like Destiny they clearly barely did anything to make the UI easier to manage than a console. I do like the core game - the four classes feel much different compared to the classes in Destiny and the loot system seems much better, but the amount of bugs makes it hard to justify buying.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
I was probably skipping Anthem anyways because I’ll be getting The Division 2 and am relatively satisfied with Rainbow 6 Siege (though its issues with bugs is like all-time bad as far as successful games go) and the latest Call of Duty, but the Anthem demo didn’t really impress me at all. Something just feels off about it to me.

Anthem is fun, but getting disconnected from the server 3/4 of the way through a stronghold on multiple occasions is a deal breaker. Any loot acquired is just gone, smh.

Anybody know where I can get a COD BLOPS 4 digital code for Xbox One on sale? It's still $60 on the Xbox store.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
Anyone who does a lot of video editing have a recommendation for a budget processor? My bro is having me put together a build and honestly I have very little experience in video editing. He's looking to edit some 4K video from his trip, he's a novice but wants to start a new hobby.
I was looking at a few of the Ryzen 5s?

Just got a switch. Can anyone recommend any of the indie games?

Does Celeste count as an indie game? Get Celeste.
Also enjoyed Golf Story.

If you have someone to play Co-Op with, Overcooked/Overcooked 2 are probably my favorite games out on the Switch including all the major games you'd expect.

Video editing is CPU intensive, sooooooo like that should be the thing you drop the coin on. The GPU can be important too, but out the gate you're going to want a good CPU and add on later. I'm waaaaaay behind on my tech stuff (haven't built a PC in 3 1/2 years) and not familiar with AMD's new line of processors, but I'd say at least a quad core i7.

Underrated comment. I don't have a high volume of hours on those games, but I had quality hours with them. I loved every minute, even if I only played around 8hrs each.

Good recs. I also submit Hollow Knight and, especially, Stardew Valley.

Yea after my initial research I bumped up from the Ryzen 3 2200G to the Ryzen 5 1600 (equivalent to an i7 4770K). Based on what I read it's a decent enough CPU that shouldn't have issues with basic editing and rendering. They also said going Nvidia for CUDA is where it's at for the GPU, I'll just throw in one of my spare 1050Tis. Thanks for the input.

That sounds like a great starter plan.

Played a few games of Apex Legends last night and had a lot of fun, this game has potential and it was just what I was looking for.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
Heads-up - $5 off a purchase of $30 or more on Steam currently through end of weekend. I'm unclear if it applies only to the items on sale? Still worth checking out.
Civ 6 Gold (Civ 6 + all currently released add-ons and DLC) is on sale for $40, so you can get it for $35 during the sale. I think I'm finally going to bite.
