Bud isn’t the offensive savant i thought he would be, or he’s just too stubborn to adjust the offense

What would Horst need to do to get his ol' buddy Hambone to trade us Fournier for Bledsoe?

Khris is a good 3rd option. We need someone that can carry the load when the team goes cold for long stretches which evidently end up costing us games, series. Giannis is marked out of these type of games. Flipping bledsoe for a scorer makes a lot of sense.
In reference to our title winning year

3rd options don’t have an AAV of 30+M Khris has to go but we’re stuck with that boat anchor of a contract unfortunately

The problem is that Bud's offense isn't as structured as it could be. You'd think they'd run PnRs for Middleton just inside the top of the key on half the possessions but they don't ask him of that. They want everyone to touch the ball until someone gets a good shot, usually a 3. That is great for everyone to feel like they are involved in the game but it's hard for players to always expect the unexpected. You can't expect players to always be consistent if they are consistently not doing the same thing.

Have them include a 1st round pick with Fournier?

I can't shake the feeling that we're going to look back on the last offseason+ as the downfall of the Giannis era. Between the Bledsoe and Middleton re-signings and Brogdon non-signing, this past offseason+ will not age well. My ranking of the worst decisions at this moment:

1. Bledsoe resigning (before his inevitable playoff failings)
2. Brogdon non-signing (likely done because of aforementioned Bledsoe re-signing)
3. Middleton re-signing
Distant 4. Brook re-signing
Even more distant 5. Hill resigning

After Jan 15

Mil out
Middleton
Bledsoe

Min out
Covington
Teague
Dieng

OKC out
Paul

Mil in
Paul
Covington

Min in
Middleton
Bledsoe

OKC in
Teague
Dieng

Minny upgrades their point situation and gets a better creator/scorer at the 3 in Middleton.

OKC dumps a lot of Paul’s money and kick starts their tank with a likely follow up trade moving on from Adams.

Milwaukee takes a risk on a older but more proven commodity at point and better creator/shooter than Bledsoe. Covington isn’t as good of a scorer as Middleton but is a better defender and locked in on a good deal. Picks/young players need to be added?

Paul/Hill
Matthews/Connaughton
Covington/Korver
Giannis/Ersan
Lopez’s

Yes it’s early but there’s something wrong with this team. Even if it’s not a big trade/roster move something needs to change. I’d be all about rolling with DDV/Wilson/Bender over Matthews/Ersan/RoLo for a stretch. Seems like they need a fire lit under their asses.

I think I'm at the point where I believe that:

- Giannis resigning
- Winning a championship in the next 50 years
- Horst ever being able to find another job

Are all dependent on us being able to consolidate our snake oil assets into some sort of fringe star this season. Can Horst find a sucker? I don't feel great about it.

They're not all bad decisions.

Hill is a great back up at the 1 that basically saved bledsoe's blushes where delly couldn't the previous playoff run. At 33, I'm slightly worried about the years.

Lopez also offers interior defence and IMO is not utilised to his potential. He's a talented low post scorer. Look at what he did against houston with giannis out of the game and again in the playoffs in an attempt to keep us alive in the series when giannis had mentally checked out.

Khris is overpaid but so is tobias. There wasn't a long list of realistic FA alternatives and the upcoming FA period is hot trash. Giannis being the mvp n all forced horst's hand to not take any chances and risk getting worse at the 3.

The decision to sign bledsoe over brog is criminal. Evidently brog is proving he can play at the 1. I tell myself that, we probably wouldn't have given him as much time on the ball but this is merely a coping mechanism.

Yeah, Bledsoe over Brogdon is looking pretty damn bad.

Do you have this one on Twitter? If things don't improve in the next month, I like it. Seems to work for all three teams also.

That seems to be inkling Giannis signed an extension. But it could just be about his bobblehead night knowing them.

High doubt it has anything to do with an extension, especially if Woj hasn't said a word about anything.
