The team is still sloooooowwww. Need a bouncy defensive big

They've done more than I thought was possible without any trades though.

Is Middleton probably getting offseason surgery a big deal? I don’t know how we trust him having a consistent run of games without getting hurt.

I mean, there's gotta be a team out there that would give us a 2028 2nd round pick for Marjon, right?

I would take anything, even one of those top 55 protected 2nds that are essentially fake picks, just to clear his roster spot.

Damn…was hoping this was going to be Khris’ first healthy summer in a while:

I come away both uneasy about Khris's overall health, and even more impressed by how good he was against Indy on two bad ankles.

He was out there playing well on bad ankles, giving everything he had for the team while Giannis and Dame couldn't go. Some of the Khris trade proposals I've seen this offseason have been straight up disrespectful.

This is a very minor “surgery” and is minimally invasive. Not worried in the slightest.

Getting surgery on both ankles is a big deal. I’m a Khris fan but idk how this couldn’t be a tiny bit worrisome. It’s way too early to really care or talk about it but it’s important and something to pay attention to in the next couple months.

Doesn't sound like anything serious, but I feel like we're lying to ourselves if Khris seemingly getting these "cleanup" surgeries every offseason now isn't compounding the durability concerns.

Really? Let me guess.. it's to clean out his knee but will miss 30 games for his wrist instead

I believe they said it was to clean out his ankle, and that he will be ready for camp.

raferfenix wrote:So…if we were considering trading Khris signing GTJ would sure make that easier.

Cheaper to acquire than Lauri and doesn’t require an absurd contract like Ingram. Offers might materialize that weren’t available before.

More likely GTJ makes it easy for Middleton to Robert Horry the regular season if needed. At least for this year.

And this is where you lose everyone after proposing the 15th different iteration of the Khris for Spencer Dinwiddie and THJ trade (Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles).
