Converse point: What is he going to do when LRMAM is guarding him every night instead of Awvee Storey wondering what he's having for dinner?

And what's he going to do when he's 25, not a kid anymore and has 4 more seasons of NBA seasoning? To echo what ayt said earlier, "Donny you're out of your element!!!!!!!!! Dude, the Chinaman is not the issue here!!!!!!!"

Also grendon, why do I have a feeling that if were half as emotionally invested in the Bucks as u are in the packers u would be even more pissed than ayt about the bucks trading Tobes?

It's incredible how misunderstood I get on here. I'm talking about the Cleveland game and now I guess this one.

Holy ad hominem with a side of strawman there, brah.

You keep dropping the staw man term, yet the main evidence you've put forth against Tobes is that other guys have failed. ...Guys that have no similarities to him... Whaaawhy?

There are lots of guys that have similarities to him that have failed.

Here is the point. Never have I said Harris was a bad player. I defer to a lot of opinions on him. I would have not have made the rental trade.

However, when we did trade him...people that really liked him used a garbage game against Cleveland with 8 points in the last 3 minutes of the game as their OH MA GAW WORSS TRADE EVER HAMMONDZ. The point is, if you think he's good...great. That's a feather in your cap. If you want to use that as a selling point of what's to come, you'd better wait for a good sample against better players if you want to definitively say that.

John Salmons is an extreme example. I don't have time to go in and dig through players (hell, I could find a list of just Bucks) that looked good in garbage minutes and got overpaid. CV/Gadz/etc. I'm sure some of that was just bad contract signing, but there are guys there.

Pointing to garbage-time stats for a guy (that very well may) have potential in your mind is great if you think he's a good player and not a bad thing but if you get mad at somebody for saying "let's see what he can do in a game where players are actually trying" I am really curious. Calling them dense fools or whatever for not jumping on board is brutal.

Again, I think he has a smooth offensive game from what I've watched and his defense was a work in progress but I'll wait until he draws the other team's stopper over the course of a season to judge him fully. He's proven that he's going to be an NBA player and has some very nice potential. However, if you want to trumpet that he's officially arrived, let's wait on that one.

You should really give it up. You didn't even watch the guy play. What is your angle here? You've already admitted that you haven't really ever watched him play. Do you want to make yourself look even more stupid while Tobias blows up over the next 1-2 years in Orlando?

You could make a strong argument he had the highest ceiling of any player on the team.

So of course the Bucks couldn't get him on the court and then dumped him.

Finished with 31 minutes, was the game high scorer.

GrendonJennings wrote:The reason I downplay this stuff is because everyone overreacts to these things so much.

The one thing you are right about is that I am playing contrarian to an extent.

I play that role with the Skiles thing (don't even like him) and downplaying Harris (don't DISLIKE him).

This happens the other way. Those who thought Skiles was the bane of existence now are pointing to the fact that Boylan is a clone. Next year if they hire Adelman, it will be that Adelman got short-stacked with young talent or something.

In terms of win/loss I don't think Skiles was really a net positive or negative. He got a lot out of some crappy players but horribly underutilized young ones (like Sanders/Harris). I think his negatives will far outweigh the positives though when you consider the fact that he barely gave Harris minutes. If he was getting consitent 15-20 minutes a night, maybe Hammond wouldn't have been dumb enough to trade him for a Redick rental (yes, I realize this still makes Hammond an imbecile).

The fact that he is so young is what makes it so frustrating. There's a glimmer of top 15-20 player hope with Tobias, and the only way the Bucks get another guy like that to pair with Sanders is through the draft. Now we're stuck right back at point A hoping we get a guy like Harris to hang our hat on to develop in 3-4 years. But that's not how this franchise operates, and it's just time to accept that. They push all in with a mediocre hand instead of patiently picking there spots.

The only person I'd look stupid to is you, who is conveniently ignoring almost everything that I'm saying.

Thanks Paul for giving a reasonable response to me a few pages back.

This will be like that.

Can't wait to bump this in 6 years. I should start saving all the ridiculous posts now. 8-)

Nobody ever wanted to pay Ramon 10 mil a season and he would of been a great guy to have on that contract.

We did though.

I posted this after his first game. I'm shocked he scored 23 in his 3rd game. Who could have seen this coming. :rofl2:

We are so **** brain dead as an organization.

Well Hammond has publicly said that he wants to rebuild through the draft, but there is a mandate to win now. Pretty obvious imo.

Yea that's what I wanna get at. Its still clearly Kohl controlling things and nothing will change until he eventually....sells.

If you didn't think Tobias had All-Star potential during his rookie season you are an idiot. It was knee yourself in your teeth obvious. He's one of the most naturally gifted scorers the Bucks have had in the last 20 years.

Knee yourself in the face if you disagree.

LMAO at the fact that you don't watch any games and you are arguing with me. You should probably give yourself a knee in the face for that as well.

I'm smarter than you (if you disagree, you are wrong) and I watch almost every game. I think you need to check your ego at the door.

Management is just stupidly incompetent. Doesn't really matter if it's Kohl or Hammond. If it's Kohl, we're stuck with him until he sells the team. If it's Hammond, we're stuck with him for 3 years and then it's still Kohl and friends who replace him. Pretty crazy this forum has so many avid supporters. Props to all still reading these infuriating threads.

You are joking/trolling in some of this I'm assuming but in your Packer draft thread and discussion of Khris Davis on the Brewer board you are gushing over some players. Did you watch all their games?

By the way, that Sessions thread is being casually ignored here by quite a few.
