Why does this surprise you? Woelfel talked to Bob Oceipka with the Clips yesterday who told him that Caron was ready to go and that part of Caron's depressed stats were a result of their schemes.

I fully expect Caron to play 31mpg and average 14/6/3 on about a 53% TS if healthy.

if those stats hold true I will say wow I can most definitely live with that, they havnt had a 3 with stats like that in like ... a long time

plus if if he is as healthy as they say and can play 30 pus minutes a game wouldn't surprise me in the least if he comes back next year at like 6mil or so

Vince Carter had the most efficient season of his career last season, he was balling. After he comes back down to earth this upcoming season we will pursue him the following thinking it was just a down year.

No. It was written by a random on the Yahoo Contributors Network, which is the equivalent of me writing an article for RealGM.

He was kind of a chucker on a really bad team when he was in his prime. Shot 41% from the field for his career, and 40% that year he scored 30 ppg. Butler and RJ were better overall players. It's a moot point though; they're all just keeping that seat warm for Joe Johnson. :)

Got a little bit of feedback from the Clippers board, in case anyone is interested:

“This was a difficult decision for us because Caron is a great player,” McDonough said. “Our timeline and Caron’s timeline were different at this stage of his career. This was just a unique opportunity because Milwaukee aggressively pursued him.”

It was only a matter of time before something like this happened. Just how the Bucks roll. Disappointing to say the least. Not sure what this move accomplishes in the slightest. We really need to get off the aging wing treadmill. Just roll with the young dudes. This organization (ie: Herb) has no patience or vision.

I'm not sure he could jump before the achilles injury :D

Glad to see he seems like he is going to be ready and in shape for the season

I still don't get that gif. Is there some kind of reason I can't think of for hitting that tire so softly? :-?

He has no room for the prize, so he doesn't hit hard enough to hit the bell.

It would probably bounce back and hit him. That part of a tractor tire is pretty tough.

I am the few that like what the Bucks have done this offseason, they have made many under the radar moves and used their cap space pretty smart/frugally. The Butler move basically fills up the rest of their cap space and gives them a 10ppg guy vet off the bench who will help come playoff time while still having flexibility for 2014. There was no one really left on the market this offseason worth considering and they can just trade Butler at the deadline if push comes to shove since he is expiring. Butler was a good choice to bring in at the 3 spot for a while since Giannis is still raw and needs time to get use to the NBA game.

Sanders is a beast and a future DPOY.Henson is a stud and I actually like the Mayo/Knight backcourt better than the Ellis/Jennings one from a defensive/team standpoint. I see more teamball played this season and I like Larry Drew as a coach.

I am not saying they are title contenders, but from a "realgm" standpoint they have made many smart moves being a small market team and not overpaying for roleplayers like Drew Gooden or Charlie Bell like they have done in the past.

The Michael Redd/Andrew Bogut and Monta Ellis/Brandon Jennings eras set the Bucks back alot but I like this team alot going into the future as I feel they are more team oriented and cap friendly to make good moves going forward. They are really only one star away from being the new Pacers.

Well thank god we can make the playoffs and hopefully we get a star like Paul George with the 13-18th pick.

it's a standard workout, he's just doing it like some part of his body will fall off if he doesn't do it as gently as possible. It looks like he's rehabbing from a car accident or a stoke.

The silliest thing the Bucks have done this off-season is to put all of their eggs in the Larry Sanders basket.

I don't mind rolling the dice on Sanders to see if he turns into the real deal, but the Bucks team is really devoid of talent. Ellis and Jennings were not a good fit together, but at least they were NBA talent. Hammond needed to find a way to convert those assets into something of value. I don't think that he did.

Sanders is a horribly flawed player, despite his great defensive skills. He would be awesome in the Ervin Johnson role, paired with an offensive minded big 3 who can blaze away from the perimeter. But on most teams your top players need to have some balance. Sanders does not. I fear that he is the anti Monta Ellis - great on one side of the ball, horrid on the other side.

I don't think that one team in the East is worried about having to face the Larry Sanders-led Milwaukee Bucks.

I'm liking this trade even more. Butler will bring a presence we haven't had here maybe since El Sid.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
