Coach Drew is more problematic to me. I don't believe he is a championship level coach.

If Hammond goes Drew is obviously gone as well. My guess is that the ownership group already has their Pres of Basketball OPS and he will have the power to decide.

I agree and that is my concern. It also means that if Hammond stays, Drew stays. Those two are tied together if it is true that Hammond picked Drew over Sampson.

For a long time I've been suggesting this team needs some legitimate front court scoring.

I think Parker answers that. But I ever so slightly prefer Wiggins.

If we draft Wiggins we need to find a way to find to address the front court scoring. I'm not sure the PFs projected in the lottery answer that if Hammond were to get another lottery pick. Maybe Saric or Randle is the answer.

It could be that we're bad next year as well and address front court scoring with a high pick in next year's draft.

If the Celtics offer up Rondo to Sacramento or LA for #7 or #8, we'd have some issues competing with that offer. Although I can't see Boston and LA making a trade w/each other. But Sacramento doing this deal? Yeah, I can see it unfortunately.

I don't think Boston is ready to pivot like that yet. They will continue to collect assets, keep Rondo, and strike the next time an opportunity arises. If Orlando's interest in Smart is legit, maybe there's something relatively simple that could be built around 4 and 6 that would land Embiid in Boston.

There's zero doubt in my mind that Sacto jumps all over Rondo for the 8th pick. I could even see Sacto sending an expiring or 2 over with the pick just to sweeten it up.

I've been watching a ton of video and reading a ton of content the past week or so, like I'm sure everyone else has. I really can't believe the Cavs would take Parker over Wiggins, and I like Parker. I really hope they do because Wiggins and Giannis running the break together in Milwaukee would be a lot of fun.

I agree that I don't think they're ready to flip Rondo in that kind of deal. But for the sake of Milwaukee's chances getting #7 or #8 I hope that they'd push for a deal with Orlando to get Embiid if the Love deal doesn't happen. It's not certain that Embiid falls to Orlando though. I think he's a threat at all of the first 3 picks, no matter what anyone's saying.

I think they would be foolish to keep hanging on to Rondo. IF the Sacramento pick was the best I could do, and Smart or Gordon is sitting there, I'd trade Rondo fast and worry about whether I overpaid later.

Why so low on Gordon? Just the shooting?

Exactly. Rondo might just as well bail in free agency next season anyway.

Oh come on -- he's a championship level coach. For a High School team...

Sure, but in what sport?

The guy I put towards the bottom of my top ten is Vonleh. He has some nice tools but I watched him in somewhere around 5 games this year and most of the time I forgot he was on the court.

In that scenario, I'd take Smart at 3. I think he'll be a better overall player than Exum. My current big board...

1. Parker
2. Smart
3. Wiggins
4. Embiid
5. Exum
6. Gordon
7. Randle
8. Warren
9. Payne
10. Saric

I'd forgotten about Stauskas

1. Parker
2. Smart
3. Wiggins
4. Embiid
5. Exum
6. Gordon
7. Randle
8. Stauskas
9. Warren
10. Payne

I still think Ersan for Perkins/21 makes a lot of sense. Then buyout Perk. Use 31/36 combined to move up as well.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
