Can argue the 2nd group is better, but I think I'd take the Bogdan route for the playoff aspects if I had to choose. Just think that shotmaking/scoring is going to be needed then.

Also, I have no beef with Pat. But I think I'd rather have Wes than him and they paid Pat more than what Wes got, I think. Maybe there is some cap rules about bird rights though that need it be multi year deal and they didn't want to give multi years to Wes at his age.

It would be Bogdan, Portis or Augustin vs DDV, Portis, Augustin. I prefer the 1st.

I would too. IDK, someone more cap expert can summarize when this is all done. But in my post I was thinking we'd be hard capped with the Bogdan move so we'd be on mins from there.

We are hard capped now too after using the MLE for Augustin. If we could pull of the Bogdan trade we would be able to get at least Portis and maybe Augustin too a bit cheaper.

Do you roll with a DJ/Jrue backcourt to keep DDV as 6th man? Feels like we're still missing a piece or two.

Long season. We just need 8 guys before the playoffs.

Would prefer more of a bucket getter type, even if he has chucker type tendencies we'd normally not like. Brown wouldn't be the worst option considering their cap situation though, he's a competent backup 2/3 but I hope they can do better. Top of my head Little Dog seems kind of like a best case but I think he can beat a min deal. Can't think off gunner type guy off the top of my head.

It depends on DDV improvement. If he doesnt improve then you give more minutes to DJ/Jrue backcourt even if DDV keep starting.

Anyway, I think DJ and Jrue play in clutch minutes.

We should sign Brown back just for the contract to trade later. That’s what deep pocketed owners should do.

Hard capped after Augustin. I thought we'd have been hard capped after Bogdan thus making no room for Augustin. IDK, maybe there's a way they could manipulate the timing of things and do it though. Just saying it was reported after the two trades they were hard capped and needed to fill on mins, if that's not true IDK but that's what was said back on Monday/Tuesday and that's what I based that off.

I don't remember how Batum got hurt, but just know he was pretty bad relative to his contract in Charlotte. He could be a good minimum on the bench, especially if he bounces back in any capacity. Probably unlikely and would be just going after a guy who used to have some name recognition, but seems low risk if you need to fill the bench.

I still feel like we should buy one of Wednesday's 2nd rounders.
