Zards renounce Bojan Bogdanovic's cap hold, making him UFA.

Cmon Sacramento!

Not even the biggest fan but that's a great deal for Reke.

Something, something, hot take about how we outbid ourselves and should have waited on Snell.

Grunfeld traded a first for 26 games of Bojan.

Seriously though. Why on God's green Earth do we feel it is necessary, every year it seems, to dictate our own price for our restricted free agents? So backwards.

As bad as that deal ended up, it could have been worse. They could have given him a 4/40 Telly contract. I bet we wouldn't have done that deal if we had had him for 26 games...

Bojan Bogdanovic cheaper than Snell, damn.
I was waiting for his price, my idea was to sign him instead of Snell in case he was cheaper or equal value.

Carter started for a playoff team in the Grizzlies just last season. Not entirely out of the realm of possibility of it happening, especially with Joerger coaching, who is very familiar with Carter and Randolph from his Memphis days.

No, just think they would rather play younger talent. I believe VC will play a minimal bench role, maybe 15 minutes a night and will be transitioning into a coaching/mentoring role with a younger squad. I think it was a smart signing by the kings but I don't at all think it was to be a starter or major minutes player.

Disagree. I think he likely signed there for playing time and money. He got both. They can infuse the young talent but Joerger wants to win and I won't be surprised if they go heavy with the vets to begin the season and when it eventually fizzles out, will go younger. In my opinion, if they would rather play younger talent, they wouldn't have signed Hill and Randolph, who will be taking a big chunk of playing time. They'll be good mentors, but if you think they won't be playing much, I gotta disagree.

last year was VC's best year for Memphis. Two years earlier he was abysmal. Regardless of what their intentions are for him. I'd be surprised if he can put up 16 good minutes a game for them.

I'm guessing Crowder still gets sent to Utah for Hayward. Can Morris play any PF?

Morris can be a 3&D PF, without the D. or rebounding.

Warriors keeping Zaza for sure and possibly McGee too.

If this happens all they did was:
Lost Ian Clark and Matt Barnes
Gained Nick Young and Omri Casspi

Jeff Green just took Beasley's roster spot and contract on the Cavs.

Wait, so all the teams except Brooklyn are capped or near capped, meaning that there would be no suitors if Snell were still on the market and he could be had for a greatly reduced rate or on the QO?

/green I am shocked

What the **** are Miami doing? Is there a superstar on that team I've forgotten about? I know they had a great run in the second half of the season but that's some Bucks/Cavs like spending they are doing on role players right now.
