That may be more about soccer culture than European culture.

Well there's been no female coach in any major American franchise. Or any major European team. You think Lebron would take a female coach seriously?

I’m sure a lot wouldn’t. I’ve just been around enough Europeans that they aren’t “politically correct” or “quiet” when it comes to certain things like a lot of Americans are.

It's time to see what Derek Fisher can do with a real star.

Just saying I don't think having a female coach would be different for Giannis compared to American players.

Can't imagine what a coaching interview with Horst would be like. Or LED for that matter.

If this was kohl we always go from bigger name to dollar bin when it comes to firing a coach under contract for more years. What’s joe wolf doing?

It sounds like every fan base is excited that Kidd is gone and Antetokounmpo might be less inclined to stay in Milwaukee.

One comment I have read that this was the Bucks best chance to reasonably let Kidd go. If the Buck's fortunes improve like they did last season as they hit an easier part of the schedule, a coaching change might be more difficult.

Making a move now, even if it upsets Antetokounmpo, might be easier to deal with than letting Kidd go in a year or two. At least now they have time for Giannis to get comfortable with a new coach.

Gotta love the morons who watch 3 Bucks game per year coming out of the woodwork with their "takes" on the Kidd firing.

I must've missed that third playoff run.

Woeful just said that it is amazing how well the Bucks have played, given how bad so many Bucks players disliked him. (WSSP-AM)

If we aren't seriously successful in 3 years Giannis is leaving regardless of who the coach is.

Good points. Giannis can be as unhappy as he wants right now. He can't go anywhere until 2021. Hire the right guy and show Giannis that the grass actually is greener and he'll forget all about Jacob Kidd.

I'm not sure Bennett's defense is any good in the NBA.

I think pack line would work ok. Less sure about his offense. There'd be an adjustment on both ends, for sure.
