I’m so happy I don’t have to look at Andre Drummond’s dumb face anymore.

70%? I haven't seen it that high. Even the heads at ESPN are mostly in love with the Bucks in this series

I think it's important to get Middleton going. I'd like to see us run some iso/post-up action for him to attack mismatches. Let him midrange a bit. We need him to be consistent and show up every game. And I don't think BOS can stop it. They sure couldn't last playoffs.

You can get it for half of that if you shop around.

Look, $50 is the lowest I'll go for a rusty Malcolm. I have to keep my dignity.

What do you think it means if we lose this series?
That the team is not good as constructed and needs drastic change?
Or that we just need to be patient and try again?

To me it's the 2nd one for sure. Outside of the Warriors there really isn't another team I don't see us having a decent chance at defeating in a 7 game series. And even then I think we could give the Warriors a run for their money - unless they get super hot because our 3 point d sometimes is ehhhh. The Bucks are a strong overall team. The only thing I wish we truly had was that consistent 3 point marksman.

1. Depends some on how narrowly we lose. Personally I think BOS is pretty legit despite their record. Losing to them wouldn't be a major indictment of the roster unless they totally whip us or something.

2. I think what you do should always depend on what's possible to do. If you can make a clear upgrade (say add a second star) then you do it no matter what, within reason. If there's no deal out there, I'm not inclined to blow things up just because we lost this series- I live to fight again another day.

He remembered he could change pace on his drives. Or he started watching more Harden/Doncic.

I think you have to live with a certain amount of "out-of-control-Giannis" offensive fouls/TOs. I'd like him to refine his decision-making and technique, but the fact remains that he scores an awful lot on improbable drives to the basket. The charges and TOs are just a necessary byproduct of all those baskets he scores.

My biggest concern is lopez,

Does bud wait for him to get killed due to his inability to close out on horford at the top of the key? With this it's asking too much of bledsoe. Great defender he may be but i want him sorely focused on kyrie.

or

Does he opt for some quicker legs in a smaller lineup with giannis at the 5?

Do you see a way to scheme around this problem or is personnel the only way to address it?

Agree its an issue.

Maybe both...we disguise Jason Kidd as Brad Stevens and have him draw up some terrible schemes for Boston.

I never thought of a "Manchurian Candidate" type solution. I need to think outside the box more :D

Ι believe Bud must have a more european approach full press to Kyrie even with Frazier.

To me, this is indicative of the difference between Euro and NBA ball. In Europe, this works because the guys coming off the bench aren't that big of a drop-off from your starters, so you can send them in waves to do stuff like this. But in the NBA, you're better off giving Bledsoe 30-whatever minutes rather than giving chunks of those minutes to, God forbid, Frazier. You give up too much on the offensive side of the ball.

It's an interesting idea though. I think Kyrie would be knocked off balance, definitely.

ESPN is basically NESN. Surprised that many picked the Bucks.
