Hard to really say who would be willing to play on the vet minimum because it'll most likely be guys that want to win a ring and or struck out in free agency.

I'm only like 50% joking when I say Giannis' buddy and my beloved MCW could be a decent candidate for this.

There's quite a few decent guys I could conceivably see ending up in Milwaukee at minimum(ish) contracts:

Guards: Teague, C. Lee, E. Moore, Shabazz

Wings: Bazemore, J. Jackson, Wes, Conny, Sterling, Korver, J. Green

Bigs: Millsap, M. Gasol, Patterson, Vonleh

What a boring day so far today.

When are we going to see action like we did yesterday? (I’m counting Bogdan as happening right before midnight CST)

Why would you trade him when you are trying to win a championship this coming season? You trade him if you want to shed salary and maybe get some picks.

Exactly. Khris literally took over game 4 after Giannis went down. Defense, passing & clutch shots.

They need him. He's Giannis' running mate & they fit way better than a lot of people seem to realise. The Bucks have consolidated into top end talent. That beats going out & getting a few good players, or cap space right now.

He said he would take a pay cut for a chance to win. Don't doubt he could get more though.

I feel like we need a backup big who can switch on the PnR and not get torched like Brook, right? Unless we're going to be defending way differently.

There are 2 guys over 6’7” on this roster, Lopez is going nowhere....somehow you must find a couple quality bigs....I’m not sure how many quality vets are all in on Milwaukee....probably only guys who struck out in FA.

just wondering if his production could be replaced with lower salaries and a better fit(more athletic sniper)? Then maybe we have more room to fill out the roster. Can Khris score without dominating the ball, he's a TO machine.

Our moves so far have been phenomenal. There’s a stockpile of UFAs out there to choose from for bench depth. Very encouraging.

He’s a perfect fit with the players we’ve traded for.

Jackson would be very smart to try and come here for a year and rehab his career a bit. That said, I could see Teague, Augustine, Moore, Bazemore, Patty C, Korver, Baynes being guys on this roster.

All we need now is a backup PF that will add even more shooting and close the games with Giannis at C. I hope Horst will manage to use the full MLE and get that 6th. You can talk players like Gallo, Grant, Crowder, Bertans who are about to get paid over 10 mil p/y offering them long term security with a 4y/40mil and a big role in the best team in the East.

Crazy that 4/5 of the realgm newswire items are Bucks related

What a night to fall asleep early. Now I’m slacking at work.

I really feel like Teague or Augustine or that Campazzo fellow would be a pretty good investment. Jrue is certainly "the" point guard but I think being able to move him up and take away some of the point guard duties will be really beneficial at times.

They could always just promote a guy from the mailroom like they did with Horst

Hoopsrumors is saying we sent out a future 2nd to Cle to lift the protections and got our own 2nd (#60) back for this years draft from Nop and the Mirotic trade. Last pick in the draft but its at least a player on a cheap deal? We do need bodies to round out the roster.

Yeah have heard this speculation a few places and don't really get it. Given he retired for medical reasons, what's the evidence that injury took place between the time the Bucks got him and cut him (June 20th-July 9th 2019)?
