Ode to Castlevania has me again thinking maybe Vampire Survivors is the best game ever.

Take your mind off the godawful Bucks with the MH Wilds open beta weekend. Steam and all (serious) consoles.

Or maybe not. Game looks absolutely gorgeous but it's crashing every 5 minutes max.

Looking great. Might have to get back to Enshrouded sometime soon. Loved it when I jumped in earlier this year, just needed more content (it's EA).

Been messing around with a $15 Steam game called Mechabellum. Incel chats aside (which you can thankfully hide), it's been a nice change of pace for me. Reminds me of the old days of Command & Conquer type games, though my friend thinks a more accurate comparison for it is "auto chess" whatever that is. At any rate it's been fun when I'm not playing Football Life, The Finals, Siege, etc.

Metal Slug Tactics looks like fun. Installed that over lunch. I'm in the early stages of an Ori and the Will of the Wisps replay. I didn't finish it the first time around.

But tonight I'm feeling like I might shut off the outside world, eat a gummy, and fire up Stardew. I already told my boss I may or may not be in to work in the morning.

Just about to hit the final battle up in Metaphor: Refantazio. What a masterpiece I'll be at just under 100 hours with it.

I 100% do not expect it to even be acknowledged by anyone in the gaming media but UFO 50 has to be my game of the year. There are so many gems (and a few facepalms) in the game.

I never completed Shadow of the Erdtree when it came out, so I figured I'd do a completely new 100% Remembrance run this weekend.

That Radahn dude is tough, yea?

I haven't been so jealous over PC gamers since original Hades came out.

Finally got around to installed my 4080 Super, which I got free from my guys at Logitech. This thing is freaking massive. And it required 3 PSU to VGA cables.

That said, if anyone is looking to upgrade to a 2 year old 3080Ti that was kept in great condition let me know. I’d give below market for my boys.

I see Stellar Blade and Nier Automata did a crossover. I keep forgetting SB exists because I never use the PS5. I gotta give that game another shot. Bounced early but I enjoyed what little I did play.

I qualify for a free EA key - and I'll use it - but as usual I'm so tempted by the core packs anyways that I'll happily plan to support them with a purchase if the EA rocks.

It looks so incredibly detailed all the way through an extensive end game already. I feel like I'll be playing this for months to get familiar, play multiple classes, etc. Can't wait for 12/6.

Gearing up for a brand new build. It's been five years since I've done anything other than adding a bigger SSD; could someone(s) review my planned build for sanity checks? Hoping to start keeping an eye on prices through the sale season.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jVMHNz

There is a compatibility alert for the case, which doesn't affect me to my best understanding. The mesh side panel version of the case has a fan hub which doesn't work with large GPUs, but I am getting the glass side anyways. Again to my understanding, all this means is that I can't install a front radiator.

But that's also my biggest unknown - I have no idea what to do with fans. It comes with two in front, and I have one added in my build that I saw in some others, but I don't know where it goes (I assume back), if that is enough, if I need some fans on top, etc.

If you're like me and haven't played PoE, this video was very informative.

Never played a STALKER game before but early on I'm enjoying the new one a bit. I had no idea it was an open world quasi-RPG game. I came in thinking it would be more like Doom. I can see how this game would be really fun.

That said, for as difficult as it is (I'm dying all the time) the load times needed to be better.

Warning that it's gotten absolutely pelted for the amount of bugs it has at launch.
