This is fair. If he asks out, then you have no choice. Think KendallMarshall is on an island with wanting to move him even if he wanted to stay lol.

I love Giannis for his genius as a player and his loyalty to the Bucks and the city of Milwaukee.

Trading Giannis would also lead to a huge drop in interest for the fans, something that doesn’t make sense for the owners from a financial view point among other things.

Shams is such a dork. "During that NBA combine week in Chicago there were a lot of conversations"...okay, conversations with among who? NBA personnel with a vested interest in seeing Giannis elsewhere? Was it folks in Milwaukee? It'stelling that he isn't saying, "sources within the Milwaukee organization" or "sources close to Giannis". It was, "league sources told ESPN".

**** off, Shams.

"Giannis has every right to stay in Milwaukee"
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

There at least seemed to be a level of authenticity with Woj. Shams is just a grifter.

**** off, Shams.

I've heard that from other people too, like from Russillo, but it seems more like league scouts/execs thinking aloud than anything concrete.

Our chances are getting slimmer and slimmer and saying Giannis is the best doesn’t mean as much as it used to either.

Keep/trade I don’t care at this point. This current Bucks’ management needs a miracle to fall into their laps.

I don’t think a lot of us are saying Giannis is a surefire path to a championship. I think a lot are saying “let’s watch genius come up a little short” over “let’s watch this management group rebuild and come up even shorter.”

When you have Giannis you don't need a miracle. You just need competence.

That said, it would take a miracle for the Buck's front office to do anything competent.

In Istanbul, Turkey, my 9-year old bought me Milwaukee Bucks pants and a Giannis sweatshirt for my birthday. HIs basketball coach has a Milwaukee Bucks graffiti-style t-shirt. 75% of his basketball team is wearing Freaks. There is a massive Giannis advertisement at the airport after you leave passport control. In the back alley stores, there are Milwaukee Bucks city edition jerseys from four years ago. The local Superstep has Tatum, James, Jokic and Giannis jerseys only. And a couple really ugly Bucks sweatshirts that sell. This is Turkey, which has always had tense relationship with Greece.

"Where are you from?"
"Milwaukee."
"Ahhh. Giannis!"

It used to be, "Where are you from?"
"Milwaukee."
"Huh?"
Swallowing my pride, "Chicago...near Chicago. The younger brother of Chicago, the..."

I'm interested in trade only as a fun hypothetical. Giannis put Milwaukee on the map and without him, we're a sad-ass, unknown city from the outside again. Not an international brand..Though I can say my school is now using Milwaukee tools.

I don't trust Horst to get this together. I certainly have no faith in Doc. But how long would the interest in hope and hypothetical last if we trade him and have multiple lotteries and multiple losing seasons? Three years? Four?

Last week at my gym i just saw the door closing and as someone was walking out i saw a glimpse of the alphabet and knew it was a Giannis jersey. (btw his nickname in china was alphabet)

Dude was already out the door so it was too late for me to run after and that felt a weird thing to do. But i was so excited it means someone in my area is a fan of the Milwaukee Bucks!

Over here i still have to say, "near Chicago, 1hr from Chicago... Its in the middle of US"

Because people in Hong Kong know LA/NYC/Miami and some have heard of Chicago.

Your posts had nothing to do with Giannis. Quit trolling and derailing.

My thoughts exactly, ESPECIALLY coming from literally nothing. Think about a kid stuck between Nigeria and Greece, surviving on almost nothing, sharing a pair of shoes with his brother, can't even afford a basketball.....coming overseas and dominating people who grew up in the AAU with a silver spoon feeding them whatever they want, whenever they want.

To call him an underachiever is crazy.

Now calling this organization/team underachievers is valid.
