Bobby did not opt in, Bobby opted out, so this contract begins this season. still waiting on individual year breakdowns

Solid work, still have him as an asset to deal now if desired and still have plenty of flexibility for other moves. Bit puzzled on the general sentiment as though he gave us a big discount or something. This is around what I expected it’d be and not many teams but Brooklyn have cap space/is going to be willing to give him considerably more than this.

I understand not wanting to sign most players to four year deals, including BP. But I would have few qualms if they did it. His game is not based on athleticism. I don't see his skill set eroding for quite a while.

Horst might actually have a plan

I was ready to move on but I assumed he'd be getting a lot more. He's a steal at $15 mil per.

HAHAHAHA

So, Spotrac chose today to make their player contract details premium membership only. 30 bucks for the year.

edit: oh okay, current contracts are still free. old contracts and i guess maybe brand new contracts? are behind pay wall.

Feels like a home run deal for Bobby. He can be frustrating some nights but that's just because when he's on he really impacts the game well. Actually for once fine with a player option because if he's good for two years, he can opt out and we can figure out someone who's not a 32 year old center, and if he's not great (Bob), some team will want him for expiring contract and to hope to salvage what he once was.

One hell of a discount for Bobby. Shocked it’s only 3 years, that’s very team friendly.

Yeah, Naz is maybe slightly better, but in no universe is he 170% better.

That's a good deal for Bobby. Getting 3 years instead of 4 is huge.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Fischer just listed Houston as a serious suitor for Finney Smith right now. I wonder if we can offer him a better playing time situation.

We don't have to take players back in the deal if we don't want to. We're under no obligation here to do anything.

Horst is 2/2 from where I sit right now. Love the draft pick and love the number for Bobby. Let’s keep the good vibes going, let’s not talk about Gabe Vincent and Maxi Kleber lol
