Definitely a foul. No question.

However the non call on the double dribble..... Maybe a bit of karma

That was great. Suck it, Pearl.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Maybe a little life karma - Bennett vs Pearl. NOT karma via the officials. I just spoke to my daughter a few days ago about living the right way and things come your way.

It's a foul - not arguing that. But that is a **** rough way for a game to end, especially with NC game on the line and they missed a double dribble seconds earlier (which I'm being honest when I say I immediately questioned that live).

I ultimately did not care about that game though - just was excited for those two teams to be there and wanted a good game. Now let's go TTU!

As an alumnus of both uwgb and uwm I approve of the win, and it was a tough loss.

Bruce Pearl is having too many summer barbecues. TOO much fun.

Wow, missing the double dribble call. Hhhhhhuuuuuugge missed call. That was the game if they called it. Even if Auburn misses the front-end FT, and UVA rebounds, they'd have only 2 sec to bring it up--even a timeout there makes it a full-court inbounds play.

Yeah. I don't get caught up in all that stuff. I couldn't tell you who got busted for what, let alone the infinite amount of rumors. I do have fond memories of cheeseburgers and chili sitting on a bar stool in a dive bar in enjoying the 2005 runs by UW and UWM

Missing the double dribble is awfully rough but I get why they missed it. I think a more judicious ref probably lets the foul go, although it was definitely a foul. Sometimes two wrongs do make a right.

My mom told me Bruce Pearl said Wisconsin girls are fat.

Kyle Guy deserves a statue in Charlottesville after these last two games. Just so unbelievably clutch after going through a serious rough patch.

Auburn was my team. Ever since they torched Tennessee in the SEC Championship, I made the decision to adopt them for a big tourney run, and picked them to get to the Final Four versus Virginia (the only things not **** about my bracket). They were easy to root for, they played a beautiful, modern brand of basketball and the way responded after losing Chuma was admirable and inspiring.

That said, everyone in the building knew Auburn had one more foul to give, and that that was going to be the strategy. I personally think Jerome was *fouled* prior to the double-dribble and that the foul call on the 3 was a good one. It's a brutal way to go down, but it cannot be stressed enough to close out going passed his man, not drifting into his real estate. He bumped that leg and altered the shot, it is what it is. Same type of undisciplined close out almost led to their run ending before it even started against NMSU in the round of 64.

It was a legit foul call on the 3. But UVA is like nine-lives this year. The uncalled double dribble, the last second shot to get past Purdue.

It's hard watching this. The UW/Kentucky/Duke FF teams would annhilate these squads.

I said the same thing aloud before this game started. "I love Jarrett Culver, but it's a **** joke TTU is in the Final Four."

The same goes with all four teams. I'm still really bitter Wisconsin's best team came during the most talented CBB season of the past two decades.

Damn, losing Owens is rough. No way he comes back. He's lucky he didn't completely shred his knee, though.
