It's been out for less than two weeks so you're not missing anything. I re-played the Tut mission over lunch because I hadn't played it since launch.

This seems like an online FPS that isn't awful if you prefer to play solo, which has always been my big thing. I don't want to hear random di*kheads if I don't have to and the Ping system they created is a nice fix to the problem. It's gonna be copied by everyone going forward.

But still, I'd be up for gaming with you nerds if you wanna form a three player squad.

I'm sure I'll be on later this evening.

Alright, Milwaukee people: Any alternatives to Spectrum? I'm an internet-only guy. I looked at AT&T but looks like they have some severe data limit caps if you don't bundle crappy TV with your internet service.

I'm now up to two technician no-shows and 3 hours on the phone and now I'm being forced to change my account (because I moved).

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

That f*ck up happened last week because of a move. Instead of a transfer they deleted the whole account. So instead of a nothing fee where we used the old equipment, a technician came out and had to use new gear and we were charged for the visit. We're disputing the charge because they **** up.

30minutes until the Direct. Time to get your last second guesses in.

Some supposed "insider" on the ResetEra boards claims we are going to get the Metroid Prime Trilogy bundle finally. Also a lot of Square Enix people retweeted the event, so guess range from the practical (previously announced FFVII and FFIX release dates/dropping after the Direct on eShop) to the bold (Kingdom Hearts III).

I've got my fingers crossed for some Atlus news - something Persona related on the Switch (P5 port, Q2 (native) release), or Shin Megami Tensei which is "supposed to" drop sometime this year anyway.

Very exciting, but I can't help but be intrigued that they packed the star into the middle of the direct. I wonder what they end with...

MP Trilogy seems likely.

The "new" Zelda looks kind of fun.

Nope. Link's Awakening Remake and some game we've never heard of.

That was a bit of a dud. We knew Fire Emblem was coming - great to see more, but nothing unexpected and it was even delayed. Mario Maker 2 was a big announcement, but the rest was meh.

Nothing unexpected?! The remake of Link’s Awakening had me bouncing in my chair like an eight year old. That said, that was my first Zelda game and I think it’s highly underrated.

So I guess people didn’t like what they saw of Fire Emblem? I’m not sure what else they were supposed to show six months out. 30 minutes of tactics?

Prepare your anus.

It's not all this **** ridiculous so don't let that scare you off. I haven't played in a while and only played minimally on a friend's system as I never had a Wii U. I just love the concept and have been hoping for even a port. A sequel is even better.

I'm not sure how to feel about Mario Maker. Never played the original. I love the side scrolling Mario games, but the idea of making your own levels sounds kinda like doing the work for them?

Playing custom levels from others could be fun, too, I guess.

Yeah, not for everyone. It's Little Big Planet x Mario. I think a big part of the fun is creating your own content, so if that doesn't appeal to you - while there's still a load of user created content out there - you're missing a key part of the experience and it might be better off sticking with NSMBD.

That said, my hope is that SMM2 will come with an actual campaign maker so that you can string levels together. Fingers crossed.

Fire emblem has never disappointed me and I don’t expect anything will change. Might start replaying the 3DS games
