Part of the league's problem with ratings is probably due to their national coverage only focusing on the stars of yesteryear, who have almost no chance of winning a title again in their careers. They should be promoting Denver, Cleveland, Houston, Memphis, and OKC. Instead, they just keep talking about dudes in their mid 30s.

This along with NFL season being more favorable to fantasy sports, so casuals will watch any game because they have investment in it from someone in their fantasy team. This leads to lots of talking heads discussing every team.

Before this season, Kuzma generally played pretty hard, even as the Wizards floundered. Certainly still took some poor shots, but somebody had to on that team. Hasn't been as consistent this season with the effort, but the basketball environment reached epic new lows this season too.

I don't believe this at all.. I think km ignored plays and just called for the ball and did what he wanted.. kuzma is nothing like that. Km didn't do anything at all on D. .. that's coach and lockerroom killer stuff... if kuzma even can bend his knees we are way better now

KM was the one that executed the plays, hence all the assists while limiting his turnovers. Kuzma will be really slow on D at SF, but not a huge factor because teams will always attack Dame 1st anyway.

We're back to being a really poor passing team. It's mind boggling they surround Giannis with poor passers year after year

TBF there's only like 4 or 5 good passers in the NBA.

I've always thought of getting a t shirt made up with just an image of Patty flying past a shooter, in the air, all out of control, while the shooter just pauses and looks at him.

Either that, or I put this image on a Bucks top

Truly, I wanted to trade Middleton over the summer for Eason, Brooks & Whitmore and was told by many that we're not trading Middleton for the Rocket's "Trash".

I was actually an enormous homer too thinking that kind of deal would even be considered by Houston.

Man, did we get stuck holding the bag..

Haslam's specialty is making it feel unethical to root for your favorite team.

At least he isn’t the face of the franchise. At least he could be an innings eater for some of these games where our vets just don’t have it. It’s not like we we gave up anything. In fact we really didn’t give up much of anything and added a second round pick this year while getting out of the second apron.

Keep talking.

Does anyone expect KPJ to get meaningful minutes for us? Over who?

What kind of numbers does Kuzma have to put up for you to be happy with his production? Would his career averages be enough or does he need to exceed that?

Give me 35% from three, effort, and passable rebounding and defense and I won't hate it.

Don't think they bring him in unless they're planning on playing him. Has a player option that MarJon doesn't, no reason to bring in a guy with a checkered past for a guy who would be a free agent at the end of the season. He's gonna play.

He'll get a crack at those Rollins minutes. Some of those AJax minutes, too. Just a guess.

I'm actually wondering if Sims gets any burn if everyone is healthy.

Funny thing is even though you saw it most of the year, you're still going to be shocked at how much we dont need KM, dont need KM handing the ball, and how much it's been hindering Dame that he even existed

If Kuzma can be a positive through rebounding and defense while shooting slightly above his career average TS% due to Giannis gravity, I think we will have improved. He needs to prove he was **** around on the Wiz this year or else we just added one of the worst rotation players in the NBA to try and improve the roster, Horst will quickly become a villain if Kuz doesn't turn it around (if he isn't already)

17 and 6 is solid as long as the %’s are closer to career highs than career lows.

I don't think that's the point. Just not the person to bet on. Also this year we are scraping every cent to go out and trade an expiring for this guy.

KPJ is solid from the corners and his jump shooting percentage is fine but his catch and shoot has taken a dive. I would think he will get more wide open shots here. If our staff looks at getting him shots from the spots he is good at he will be fine.
