The bias of this board is unreal man.

I think I was the biggest Knight fan of all the so called "fanboys" as many of you like to say. Yet I simply love this move for the Bucks, this is the sort of trade a winning organization makes, but that is not to say that the Suns did not get a good piece either.

I think Knight is a very questionable fit for PHO. He wants to play PG and have the ball in his hands. He will not be happy if Bledsoe is the 1 mainly taking the ball up court and initiating the offense. Unless PHO is planning on mainly playing Bledsoe at SG, I do not see Knight loving being only the 2nd Best and 2nd Highest paid PG on the team.

Going from Dragic to Knight will be a huge downgrade for PHO

Can't see him clapping for the ball working that well for him with Bledsoe. :D

MCW sucks. I get how awesome it is to trade knight but MCW just sucks. Maybe he takes a monstrous step but he's below average-atrocious in every aspect of offense aside from willingness to pass.

He is a better player than Marshall and we loved Marshall here.

Knight had a broken jumper last year, had a good one this year.

I am willing to bet people here will love MCW in 3-4 months, Kidd has a way with making players better, we have seen this since day 1.

Haven't had that in a while in a PG, small victories. :D

Matt was just telling you what MCW has been so far. He could easily take a step forward, but his track record is one of suck.

Still a **** decision maker who doesn't run an offense well while being the 2nd worst shooting guard in nba history. Prepare for every other game to be 6 for 17 and 5 turnovers. But don't worry he'll get 16 points, 5 boards, and like 7 assists domineering the ball. It's gonna be like having a BK who can't make a shot from anywhere.

Knight could have been a piece of the puzzle for the Bucks. He is very, very good. Despite that, I would have been open to a trade for someone that had a higher ceiling. I don't see that in MCW. Horrible offensively. Most of the posters here are living in the dark ages. Other than Rondo and maybe Tony Parker, most of the good teams have shoot first point guards-the kind this board doesn't like. Curry, Westbrook, Rose, Lillard and Wall all are dominant scoring point guards. But many on this board love having a pass first guard who can't shoot. Give me a quality player with a high efficiency rather than trying to get a player to fit into a stereotype of what a point guard should look like.

I think Knight was a much better fit for the Bucks than Phoenix. As some posters have pointed out, Knight needs the ball in his hands and so does Bledsoe. By the way, the same posters who love getting a pass first point guard like MCW are the same posters who less than a year ago were drooling over getting Bledsoe, who is the same type of player as Knight.

Lol. He's started 38 games this year and 17 times he had 17 or more FGA. He takes 16 shots per36.

In Philly. Where he was the 1st, 2nd and 3rd option.

He won't come close to his average number of FGA in Milwaukee.

He played the exact same way at Syracuse. It's going to take a drastic shift in role and mentality, which is hugely ironic given your trashing of posters using this same argument for knight previously.

I just think people are in for a rude awakening with MCW. To be a positive impact player for us he needs to have his role shifted so drastically, in a way we've never seen from him, it's hard to imagine it working. He needs to basically never, ever shoot unless it's a wide open layup because he can't make anything else, and right now he's a guy shooting Knight amounts. Also gonna be tough for our offense having a guy who just isn't a threat. Will be interesting.

I expect MCW to get 10 shots maybe every third game. Of course he shot a lot in Philly he played with a D-league roster

You mean where he was also the primary option?

Look, I could be wrong. Maybe he comes in and starts chucking up a gross amount of shots.

But you really see Kidd allowing that?

What's going to stop him? We just saw knight do it all year and everyone was asking why isn't Kidd stopping him? Like you said all year, not gonna change a guys mentality when he's been playing that way for years. I totally get the upside of MCW, but it entirely hinges on him transforming himself as a player into a playing style that's vastly different than he's been playing, it's a massive amount of projection. Maybe he does it, and I'd love it if it happens. I just think people are in love with the idea of a 6'6" defensive PG and it causes them to gloss over the other aspects of that player. I would have just traded knight for the lakers pick if we were going to trade him, screw MCW.
