I have to imagine GPII will be signed to one of the 2-way contracts. He showed enough in the pre-season to merit a look, imho (and, I say this coming in fairly critical of his game). This would give us a pretty damn solid G-League backcourt in Munford and GPII. Curious to see who the final 2-way will be.

Two-ways I'd be very happy with:

Kay Felder
Danuel House
Vander Blue
Isaiah Taylor
Elgin Cook
Demetrius Jackson

Morey snagged Jackson for one of the Rockets 2 ways on August 22, a month & a half after Horst signed Bronson Koenig.

No doubt. Eddy Tavares would be a defensive game changer too.

Oh snap, Joel Bolomboy just got waived. He should be a candidate for sure. Rebounds the hell outta the ball (13.2 per in 24 D-league games last year)

Haven’t heard a peep about James Young since he was released, wonder if we are trying to work something out with him.

I'm pretty sure the Locked on Bucks guys said he didn't want to make himself a 2-way candidate and preferred to go his own way.

I herd we'll need to sign some more players to fill out the roster.

Bolomboy, Zagorac, Baldwin all complete the waivers process today. Will be interesting to see if anybody claims them. Personally think Bolomboy and Zagorac are both worth rostering.

Disappointed there hasn't been a "Herd is the Word" commercial.

Are we allowed to keep a 2-way open? One thing to keep in mind is that the market in Europe tends to shift when a team loses a couple in a row & the best American on the roster gets blamed or a guy gets fed up with not having been paid on time. We could be looking at a really quality player on the outs from his Euro club in like a month or so. The guaranteed 2-way money might be an enticing landing spot that hasn't existed before.

You don't have to fill the 2 way spots ever.

With Baldwin out of the picture, hoping we bring in our 2nd soon. We can always cut one later if a clearly better option emerges.

http://wisconsin.gleague.nba.com/news/herd-acquire-returning-player-rights-to-cliff-alexander/

The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, acquired the returning player rights to Cliff Alexander in a trade with the Long Island Nets. The Herd also received Long Island’s fourth-round pick in the 2018 NBA G League Draft. In return, the Herd traded two 2018 second-round selections – the team’s own and the recently acquired pick from Greensboro.

“Cliff is a highly-skilled big man who is among the best in the league at his position,” said Herd General Manager Dave Dean. “He has a tremendous upside and we are excited to add him to the Wisconsin Herd family.”

Alexander, 21, averaged 20.6 points per game and 10 rebounds per game in 18 games played with Long Island last season. He is a former McDonald’s All-American and was named the West Team’s Most Valuable Player in the 2014 Jordan Brand Classic national game.
