So I'm in the Epilogue Part 2. It blows my damn scull that you can basically re-visit the northern half of the original game. McFarland Ranch, Armadillo, Tumbleweed, etc. It's all there.

Found a dead pixel on my new monitor. I'm hoping it's just a stuck pixel but nothing is working. Amazon can't replace it since they are sold out...going through the RMA process with Samsung.

It's just so much faster :D

Really depends on your budget, but now is going to be the best time to buy. I honestly think you could get away with a 27" 2k 144hz monitor today or Monday for less than $250. And if 2k really doesn't matter you can find a 32" 1080 for $150-200

I do want 2k, as even if I'm not gaming, I want the higher resolution for photo editing. If I could do 4k with my graphics card I would, but seems like overkill and possibly detrimental right now.

Thoughts on this guy?

Loving Hitman 2. I bought the legacy update so I've been playing through Hitman 1 first, so much fun.

Thats a solid option, however for a just a little bit more you can find one that runs at 144hz which is nice for gaming. I have this one and I love it.

Whoops, forgot you wanted built in speakers. I don't think that one does!

I gave up on that hope, unfortunately. Not enough good options.

After reading a bunch of reviews this afternoon, I went with the U2717D. It's an IPS display vs. a TN, which sounds better for color clarity and production which I will appreciate for photo editing. Short of spending a fortune, it sounds like having too low of a refresh rate can impact color production. If it was for pure-gaming I definitely would have gone with the one you linked, as it sounds like G-Sync is pretty nice and would have worked with my card. Alas, I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone.

Thanks for the advice, as always!

I have not tried it, but heard from some that the $100 deals found over BF would be considered "worth it" and that some good games came out this year. But that's all I've got.

Odyssey arrived yesterday, so looking forward to jumping in as soon as I'm home from Thanksgiving. Also picked up Disgaea 5 on the Switch eShop for $25 on sale and post-rewards points. It's a goofy-as- **** SRPG - the demo caught my interest as it's a min-max fest with a plethora of systems to dig into. Hoping it will be a good game to travel with the next few months.

I struggled with this and it led me to stop playing. With the hints and prompts on you get to do some cool setups but it basically holds your hand the whole time and it feels too easy. I tried with them off and got frustrated because I would find parts of setups but couldn't really put most together. So I just stopped. Used to love Hitman when I was younger.

That map in the suburbs is pretty fun.

AC Odyssey is fantastic so far, though I must admit I'm stressed looking at the world map. I haven't left the intro island yet and am over 5 hrs in. It's like 1/30th of the map...maybe.

I played maybe 50 hours and saw probably 40% of the map. Since I'm almost done with RDR2's main story and epilogues, I can see jumping back into that, with all the wonderful combat, movement and FAST TRACK SPOTS.

This feels like my thoughts. I have the 1st but I’ve barely touched it. Part of me didn’t care for the episodic style release either. I used to love the series, but I struggled to get into the 1st. The 2nd is on sale for 29.99 is it worth trying again?

Currently playing RDR2 and picked up Odyssey on BF to either gift of find time in my busy schedule to play as well.

RDR2 Online is going Live this week.

I dumped hundreds of hours into GTA Online. I don't anticipate doing the same with RDR 2, but I'll definitely explore a bit.

I think my next game purchase will be Civ 6 for the Switch. Seems like the perfect game for a handheld portable. Has anyone bought that yet?

No but i'm really interested as well. I saw that some complained about the lack of multiplayer (both off and online) but that's not something I've ever done in Civ. I pour hours and hours into Civ V and was ready to jump on Civ 6 for Switch this Christmas.
