No way in hell I'm moving additional draft picks for any of those guys. We're set at wing.

I'd give up a first for Bogdan, I think he's pretty good. The rest, nah.

Rather see what the market looks like for DeAngelo, GS might be interested in win now pieces like Ersan+Robin+(Sterling?) and picks

I think DeAngelo is a win now piece that they just signed for over 100 million. I dont see this being something they would consider.

how much would he cost from the Bucks?
Ersan 7$ + S.Brown 2$ + Indianas 2020 1st

*
how about these guys?

CJ Miles 32y - Grizzlies
$8,730,158

Jae Crowder 29y - Grizzlies
$7,815,533

Trevor Ariza 34y - Kings
$12,200,000

Bogdan Bogdanovic 27y - Kings
$8,529,386

i just feel like we should get a starting SG,
and solidify the starters.
then whoever remains gets mins as available.
if we really are going for IT,
then im ok moving youngs and future picks.
my order from these guys would be Cov, Jae, Bogdan, Ariza, Miles.
I dont think there is any reason to jump into a trade. Wait until the trade deadline. The 2 spot will be fine until then.

It's possible that the Warriors, then, plan to move Russell down the line. The New York Times' Marc Stein suggested this on "The Dan Patrick Show" on Monday.

"D'Angelo Russell doesn't fit there whatsoever," Stein said. He added: "They just wanted to make sure that they did not see Kevin Durant ... walk out the door for nothing. They got a 23-year-old All-Star, and they will trade him. It's just a matter of when. Do they keep him for a full season? Do they even trade him at midseason?"

ESPN's Zach Lowe suggested the Warriors could try to trade Russell for "value." That could mean the Warriors eventually swing Russell in a deal to recoup some draft picks and perhaps get another rotation-worthy wing player.

The Athletic's Tim Kawakami wrote: "Maybe Russell is the key piece that keeps the Warriors competitive in 2019-20. Or maybe he plays so well that the Warriors can trade him for something even better in the future. Maybe he's the wild-card piece that sets the Warriors up for multiple interesting options down the road."

Interesting. But Ersan Robin Sterling doesn't seem like it's a needle mover for GS. We will see what happens later I guess.

Just feel like George Hill is going to bite us in the ass this season. Think we whiffed on not giving that money to Tyus Jones.

Yep.

I like the Bucks wings enough. They compliment The Freak's game... But, if the Bucks could leverage a significant upgrade at wing with Brown & the Pacers 1st, that would be pretty cool. That would pretty much complete the team.

I don't like "those guys" either. The Bucks have the OK veteran wing thing covered... I'd want a better version of Brown. Something like Osman or Bacon... If guys like that are doing well, the Bucks would have to motivate their teams to trade them. If that meant adding the Bucks 2024 1st, so be it.

In my best Kevin Greene voice- "it is time"!... (For the Aussies & Greeks, that's a Packer reference. A championship winning Packer reference!)

And on roughly the same volume. Mids didn't have as wide of a gap but was also better on pull-ups, 39% to roughly 35% on C&S.

If everything stays the same and both of those guys add a few % points to their C&S, which is not unreasonable given their history, it could really help mitigate any hurt to the offense from losing Brog. Conversely though, the pull-up numbers are likely to drop and could do so significantly.

Bogdan is unquestionably worth a Bucks 1st. Maybe 2. He’d put us over the top in my opinion. Kings will never part with him as long as Vlade’s there though.

I mean, if Russell plays well for GS then what exactly is stopping them from just sliding either him or Steph down to SG? Klay aging and coming off an ACL is only going to solidify him as a SF going forward. I don't get why people just automatically assume that Russell was a "only until Klay is back" acquisition. Those 3 guys could form the most potent perimeter offense in the league.

One positive early hallmark of the Bud/Horst era is that everyone who was on last year’s 15 man roster will be back in the NBA next season. Was never the case with Hammond/Kidd at the helm.

Yeah, I forgot he was the 4th guy on the list... He'd be an excellent fit.

Wait, you mean Marquis Daniels, Chris Copeland, and Gary Payton II weren't NBA quality players when they came to play for the Bucks?

I was told repeatedly during those years that role players don’t matter.

Was wondering yesterday if the Dubs would explore Steph trade options in a couple years. Either before his last year or in a S&T, and then build around prime Russell/Klay + whatever else. Steph will be 34 at the end of this contract and who knows how his ankles hold up. But his shooting should age well so maybe they re-up and let him retire a Warrior.

Looking forward to the Vlade - Vivek showdown over Bogdanovic - Hield.

Hi, doldrums. Please end soon.
