Feel really good about the depth once all our guys get back.

I can't see the Bucks re-signing DDV.

I don't have a sense either way, but having another guy other than Jrue that defend the PG at a high level is still a need, especially as Jrue ages.

Noticed him also last night. I am going with an assumption that he is from a very wealthy Chinese family, and has the cash to essentially be a team groupie. Do not believe he has any role with the team whatsoever. Would love clarification though from others if they know.

Agreed. We're going to need Donte, assuming he can return to health. He would have been a massive add last night after Jrue went down.

I don't think he's eligible for an extension because of the type of original contract he has.

Yes, he's going to get paid after the season.

That sucks, fire Horst

One year of Bryn Forbes cost the team the opportunity to use their remaining MLE to sign Nwora to a 3 or 4 year deal. Very costly.

I'm guessing Forbes was Buds guy. I'm guessing Hood was Buds guy. I hope Bud eventually realizes Horst is good at his job, and let's him do it.

Yeah, one of his IG posts has one of his friends talking about him being a billionaire.

Any thought on picking up Demarcus cousins just until we can get Bobby and Brook healthy. I love Mamu, but he is t ready yet. Let him practice and play in the G league but needs to get stronger

He was in the tunnel with the players as they came out for the ring ceremony. Nice to have $$$
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

In the following months I think we will try and get rid of our 2022 1st round pick. In my opinion Horst wants to see Semi as our PF with Giannis as Center and then take action. So do you think we can afford someone as a 3&D forward to take Tucker's place? Last year I had my sights on Tucker since the moment Harden left, but this year I am really having a hard time thinking of someone we can grab.

Any ideas?

I dont know what their dynamic is but if Horst is the acting GM, not just by title, then it's on him to say no to Bud. If you thought of this, i would expect an NBA gm to have the foresight to think of it as well. Now, if Bud has more power in the building than what's on paper, it falls on both of them.

Side note: I dont know if i understand the Hood signing anymore. Unless of course they had no idea they would have a shot at Grayson or if they didn't like their chances of getting Grayson. Guys coming back from major injuries probably aren't going to be solid defenders, so we were after him for his 3 ball. That's no longer an area of need for us. I'm assuming Hood is dealt at some point this season.

I'm so impressed with Pat. It's like he figured out the exact areas of his game that are needed from him in this offense and has taken a massive step forward in all of them: Three point shooting (form looks great, he's no longer waiting til pause at the peak of his jump to release. he's using his upward momentum to his advantage and releasing just before the peak). His finishing at the rim (layup game is just sick right now). Making good decisions in traffic and putting himself in the right spot to get fed. Still a force on the glass. I think maybe bringing in Grayson put a little extra fire under him.

Pat, i salute you.

Once Allen and Nwora's three pointers start falling it's going to be pretty entertaining.

We can't trade this 1st round pick until after the draft, Stepien Rule.

We're limited to trading 2nds, and also don't have salary slots to trade, besides Hood.

We haven't seen Semi yet, but he was signed to replace Tucker.

Hopefully the depth asserts itself, and we don't need to add anyone. We're already deeper with Hill and Allen, plus Nwora has a chance to be a breakout difference maker.

What am I missing with Nwora. He gets near universal praise but when I watch him I see one of those undrafted summer league dudes chucking as hard as they can trying to get noticed. Unless they’re telling him his role is to take any shot available to him I don’t think he’s understanding his role.

Forbes helped the team a ton during the regular season and first round of the playoffs.

He's a very talented scorer so of course they want him to try to figure it out to see if he can be useful off the bench.

I love how you turn everything into being about Nwora. I repeatedly posted trades last year to upgrade from Forbes, like Grayson Allen. Wouldn't that have blocked Nwora?

I also love how you consider a player who was .2 VORP in big minutes a player who helped the team a ton. The team tanked when Forbes was on the floor, he was the weak link of the rotation.

I guess I see him as a shooter and not a scorer. I don’t think he has the handle or athleticism to be able to consistently create his own shot.

**I** turn everything into being about Nwora? You act like you've accepted him as your personal lord and savior.
Maybe you're not crazy, just a true believer in the Church of Nwora. Forgive me for being a heathen.
