I believe they have a higher winning percentage when he does not play this year. He pouts, takes way too many plays off on defense, and many times will just stand there and watch guys get rebounds not even trying! Fans are getting fed up with him, and the media is starting to see it too. You can tell by watching the games they have a lot more fun when Embiid is not playing. Look for them to limp into the playoffs getting smoked in the first round by Cleveland, or NY. Embiid puts up big numbers but pouts and is a front runner. When things get tight he chokes 90% of the times and is gassed by the 4th. I wish he had half the heart and work ethic The Greak Freak has. IMO he’s the best player in the league by far when you count both ends of the court.
I hadn't realized things had gotten this bad. I thought he was a top 3 player in the league. I'd rank 'em like this. Giannis, Jokic, Embiid, Tatum, Luka. I just always thought Embiid had bad mojo/juju though. Like he's always the guy where the final shot doesn't drop for his team, or does drop for the other team. Harden's kind of the same thing, they're great players and you can't quite put your finger on why, but things just don't seem to go their way.

I've always generally liked Embiid. Only real gripe is the ref baiting and constant flailing for fouls. But I always thought he cared and obviously he's really good.

But if things are as bad as that poster says with the attitude/culture around him I don't think he's wrong to explore a trade. Key word, explore, not force. I think I've said if for a while on here that I could see the logic of cashing him for a huge haul while you can as his body seems like a ticking timebomb. One more big knee injury with his size and seemingly not great work ethic and he might end up a shell of himself or be done. If there is some other star who's close in age or younger that you get back, plus other assets I don't think you just dismiss it. I don't know, top of my head maybe a Toronto deal of some kind works. Maybe him and Tobes for Siakam and others, plus picks. They have a lot of good players there who could work.

Anyone in the GB/Fox Valley know how to watch the game tonight on Spectrum? ABC is having the CP Telethon override it in the area

ESPN3, download the ESPN app and you can connect your Spectrum/Direct Tv account

I am in the same boat
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

It's definitely annoying, 2nd year in a row this has happened, last year was vs the Suns.

Yea and for some dumb ass reason I decided to move to the armpit of the whole country that they refuse to put high speed internet in too so I just won't be able to watch the game :noway: :nonono: :banghead:  really love the less than 3rd world infrastructure we got

That sucks man, like I obviously have no problem with the CP Telethon and it goes to a good cause but like cmon two years in a row you're going to supercede the Bucks game with it. Last year it was a Sunday during the day and now it's a Saturday night? Like GTFO. Bad timing or whatever but its an easy way to make sure I donate to other charities and organizations instead of yours.

Excited to watch today. First time in a couple months I've been able to sit down to fully watch a game. Hoping we continue the good vibes

What would the Sixers even be looking for in an Embiid trade?

That seems like it could make it way more likely Harden actually walks too. Not saying Philly is winning with Embiid but if theres really an issue firing Doc and making more trades seems likely to happen first.

That said if some team is offering a deal more enticing than we’d otherwise think (more than Gobert) maybe — not sure what that’d mean in practice though since idk if the Sixers would tank.

Isn't this the team that stopped Giannis from shooting extra free throws after? Giannis about posterize that mfer... he might as well sit out tonight whoever that was. If not, I expect 40+

I wouldn't be too surprised to see the 6ers totally clean house if they don't win a couple series.

Correct
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Harrell's out of the rotation so he sits out by default.
