Almost every defensive possession was awful. The amount of times we had guards in the paint against Vuc and Drummond while Giannis, Portis and Brook were guarding the perimeter was too many times to count. It happens again and again. Then you get burned on the perimeter because you have guys that can't keep up, or burned inside because you have no length.

We were smashed on the boards because our bigs are always out of position.

We decided not to foul on the inbounds on that last play to give them two shots and take possession. Brook had no business being on the floor on that last play.

Middleton was not in the game at all in OT.

Yeah Giannis played down for most of the game, and Dame was too passive, and Portis was a turnstile who's lost his shot, but so much of what is happening is on the coaching.

Rewatch it, guys. You'll see what happened. Hint: It wasn't "Dame Time".

Was it Bobby Time? Or maybe Marjon Time

Him altering his shot mechanics and not being able to shoot 3’s anymore really tanked his value to the team.

Didn't even realize his volume is down significantly along with his percentage entering Giannis territory.

yeah, no matter how bad we are on offense and defense, they can say they need more time to gel

but you cant argue being up 3 with 5 seconds left, and not fouling.

Only saw 4th quarter and beyond but from what I saw Dame was completely disinterested in this game no idea why did somebody piss him off earlier in the game?

Between the below tweet & not fouling up 3 there's some real easy stuff to point to on just basic head coaching strategy that Griff failed to do tonight

a coaching mistake down 5 with 6 seconds to go isn't a very compelling case for why we lost the game.

not fouling up 3 isn't something that all coaches do. i watch a lot of ball, i've seen it not done more than i've seen it done.

anything else?

Also the roster we have right now isn’t ever going to be able to defend.

Caruso needs to save some of those tough buzzer beating 3s for when he becomes a member of the Bucks...lol.

It was dumb when Bud didn't foul either fwiw. It's such an obvious advantage for the team I have no idea why some coaches refuse to take advantage of it

You could just tell something was off body language wise not good. All these years being drama free feels like we have a lot of drama right now. Not great.

Up 3 and 5 seconds on the clock, why is Brook on the floor? Wouldn't you want someone who can switch?

Probably tired of this Dame Time scheme. We shouldn’t have to go to it most games. Even if it continually works it’ll kill our guys and especially Dame by the end of the season.

And Bud was also wrong in that regard. Bud's no saint. He's just infinitely better than Griffin.

Always foul up 3. Especially under 10 seconds. Especially how that play developed.
