Can't be turned off when he's apart of it.

Yeha man, shame on Giannis that he cannot defend all 5 positions at once while scoring 40 and playing for 41 minutes.

I'll start with one man running down the court when he's the only man back.

We really miss Jrue's ability to fight through screens and funnel the ball carrier into Brook instead of just a straight switch.

Against teams like Indy that have a shooting 5, I'm not sure Brook can play with Dame and Beas out there. Either Hali kills you in the Brook iso, or he kills you driving down hill hitting the open roll man.

It's not really Brook's fault, but we prob should be playing Giannis at the 5 (at least in the closing stages) vs teams like this (Boston too). We need Jae back too (and a version of him that can play defence).

Griff has the Bucks aggressively blitzing the ball which is making the defense even worse. I don’t feel bad for him at all. He’s a system guy who refuses to adapt to his personnel. We have been doubling guys at half court this season lmao.

Agree it took players to tell that ass wipe to drop brook down liw.Couldnt see it himself and apparently he csnt see thst this aggressive D isnt working.Since horst refuses to can him maybe the playerz need to confront AG and tell him to get his head out of his ass like holiday and tucker did with bud

Right! One man can only do so much and has only so much energy to give. He had to use it all up just to keep us within 12

gonna laugh when it's Pacers vs. Heat in the ECF because they are the only teams that have figured out how to play hard for 48 minutes.

When you play transition defense the way we did and miss tons of bunnies at the rim the way we did, how can you expect to win?

We need a bench that can play hard and pick up the slack. We fall away into oblivion right now when the bench comes on.

The D was so bad. I do not think its lazyiness. I think they are just that dumb and soft. Indy plays D. That is why they won. We gave up so many transition buckets when we even had numbers back. We have too many guys who cant even stay in front of their own grandpa. No chip for us this ear unless we get rid of bozo the clown coach.

this won't be enough

he does not look engaged on defense either
I noticed in the second half he looked....off. Normally tight games are ones he loves playing in.

He and Dame seem too disconnected. And not in terms of personality, but just on the court. Seems weird.

Bobby and Marjon have really bad blinders, man.

That stretch where Bobby got an offensive board, didn’t realize Giannis was wide open right next to him proceeding to get the ball ripped out of his hands, followed by those marjon layup attempts and subsequent 1-4 from the FT line was brutal.

Bobby needs to go, and we blew our chance to maximize his value in the off-season.

You can talk defense all you want but Bucks need bench scoring. Can't run Giannis, Dame and Middleton all game. They wear down too much.

Good. Tournament was stupid anyways
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

For such a high pressing, switching, gambling defense we create very few turnovers. It’s like we run and switch and blitz with no real goal in mind. Someone said it best a week or so ago.

We are that kid playing nba live and just smashing the steal and turbo button non stop

If tired Giannis goes bully mode in the end and misses 2 buckets the entire board would go ham on him of being selfish and not letting Dame be Dame. They had no answer for him, they started doubling him at the 3p line, he made the "correct" decision and we missed our wide open 3s from our best shooters. It wasn't our night. You shrug it off and continue. It's a miracle we are even alive with this kind of defense against the best offenses in the NBA...

I guess if you consider Brook our best 3 pt. shooter.

I'm not talking about Brook. I'm talking about the wide open 3s from Beasley and Dame after the Pacers forced Giannis to pass it out over the 3p line in the 4th.

When Brook is having an off night offensively and the oppossing team has a 3p shooting center and/or an elusive guard like Hali he needs to be benched and the team to go small ball Giannis. There is no other way.

That is precisely why repeated 4th quarter Dame Time made me uneasy. You can’t rely on that against good teams. And today Dame was awful in the first half.

it is not a matter of the players not caring, that's what this team is
That first half they looked like they didn't want to be there at all. Especially defensively.

I would see what you can get for Portis, Connaughton, and MarJon. Probably not much, but I prefer to watch some different players.
