Should wait until Jae Crowder is healthy before jumping to anything.

Re: PG Bulls - Win
I've just finished the game and didn't read a single post so far.
My impression was that we were pretty good defensively tonight but the Bulls especially in the 1st half made some really tough shots against great defense to keep it close while we were hot. We got hurt mostly from their offensive rebounds after well defended bricks and some missed calls in the 2nd half.
Let's see if you feel the same.

Re: PG Bulls - Win
Wonder if behind-the-scenes conversations for a possible new head coach already started when Stotts quit. This front office did NOT trust Griffin to coach on his own. They probably planned to have Stotts focus on the offense and Griff take care of the defense. I think they are probably extremely upset with how bad our defense has been under Griff, since that was supposed to be his strong suit.
I don’t think they’ll fire him unless we lose at least 5-6 in a row, our record drops to near .500, or Dame/Giannis/Khris demand it internally. Yet I have to think that Horst is already thinking of his next coaching move.

Crazy this team is 16-7 despite having a total knob as a head coach.

Also hoping our defense improves with Pat back.
Apart from his consistent problems with dribbling in traffic or under pressure, he's been great in the minutes he's been on the floor.
I can't wait until 2025 when he's finally back to full minutes.
32 minutes last night. That's going to be about full minutes for him and that's fine.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

so far i think his total impact is below what we had with bledsoe. and im tired of pretending it isnt
There's obvious spacing impact even when he's sucking. Giannis has never had this space before.
i dont disagree with you. considering the massive fall off with everything else it has been wonderful to see giannis flourish.
my point was more as it relates to the team tho. were not better than when we had the bledsoe and jrue. more efficient shooters from distance and at the rim who were lock down defenders at the point of attack with lopez.
outside of his effect on giannis which may or may not even be real as quite frankly im not sure beasley doesnt have just as much to do with it.... hes been a mess

The only problem with that is it takes them about a year to update anything.JayMKE wrote:I'll believe it when it gets announced on bucks.com

An absolute chore. I didn't even tune in last night until the last couple minutes of regulation and back again for the last few ticks of OT. I don't seek out Bucks games. I don't move around plans. I don't tell my kids I'm not playing with them. I don't ask my wife to put the game on. A team with Giannis and Dame shouldn't just be in my periphery. I used to be Team Optimist when Brandon Jennings, Andrew Bogut, and John Salmons were our big 3. Quite a feat by Adrian Griffin to have me this disinterested.

Re: PG Bulls - Win
The funniest part of last night was Khris getting stripped by Andre freaking Drummond twice on the same possession. Lord that was tough to watch.
I honestly have no idea how it went to OT. I swear we were up 4 with like 30 seconds left so I stopped paying attention. Next thing I know OT is starting?
Wait, what was the rationale on the Khris foul on DeRozan? Looked super clean.

Kinda just have to laugh at this point. Another absurd, hyper-efficient night from Giannis, but we need OT to scrape one out because we let a Bulls team missing their entire starting backcourt put up a 120 offensive-rating. Team is probably lucky the Packers are absorbing all the negative energy this morning.

Re: PG Bulls - Win
AJ green is good. the only two passable defenders is brook and giannis. Brook is extremely limited to rim protector only but he's elite at it. Giannis was extremely active at times, flying around and getting a few deflections. I'd like to see AJ green get more time. Having him and beasley out there gives the bucks 2 absolute snipers. and AJ green knows how to get screens and seems to have a good chemistry with giannis.

Not sure if sarcastic but timing sucks. Back mid-January but probably out of shape. Won't be until early February until we see what jae has left.
I'm totally fine waiting until the deadline and seeing what the landscape looks like. We really don't have assets to be make quick deals but rather last minute opportunists when there aren't better offers anyways

There were a bunch of bad calls. I counted three times at the end of regulation/OT where the ball clearly went off of a Bull and they were awarded the basketball. A lot of crap like that, but it shouldn't have even come down to that.
Either way, we won!
