A completely reasonable amount.

Happy birthday, chones.

I agree with you. Horst needs to find someone like an overseas vet we can get on the cheap.
The coaching staff continuing to get on them about it would be helpful as well. Our players aren't morons but it's frustrating that they still can't get these bad habits out of their game.

I thought Oubre and Martin played okay, I thought Lowry played well, I thought Yabusele and Drummond were on the better end of expectations. But they won because they turned Maxey into a bad version of Allen Iverson for the night

1) Made a concerted effort to post up Giannis
2) Decent perimeter defense
3) Doing whatever they can to keep Lopez down low on defense
Things I didn't:
1) I still don't want Giannis attacking the basket when he's at the top of the key in the regular season, unless it's crunch time. It's the main recipe for injury.
2) I would post up Lopez more and have him as a roller more on pnr.
3) Green was really bad guarding Maxie, but he needs to be given more chances to see if he is viable.

ALSO how long have we been begging for the team to work to get Giannis elbow catches? So good to see that emphasized.

The Giannis thing was the most important takeaway for me. The staff has him doing a lot more things off-ball, and when he does get the ball, it is in better positions to score.
He reverted to his old bully ball, I run the offense thing briefly in the 2nd half, and Philly took advantage of it to close the gap. But then Doc shifted personnel and got him calmed back down.

Biggest takeaway from the game for me outside of svelte Dame. Granted it was a banged up 76ers squad on a one game sample but if the other four players can figure out how to effectively guard the perimeter, while keeping Brook down low by any means necessary, he can still positively impact the game defensively. Good start.
