Re: PG Orlando: On to Vegas
Lopez and Giannis struggled with their quick, long (but generally unskilled) bigs.
Giannis seemed to forget the value of teammate scoring. Not much driving into the paint to kick out to Green, Prince, Trent for 3.
Portis with back to back all-star performances.
Giannis missed 5 FTs. Orlando kept pace.
Soooo many times I mutter "it's nice to have a Giannis". We should savor all of the incredible things he does.
Orlando doesn't take or make enough 3's to win big. At least not in this game.
Results seem to be less random when Middleton is on the floor. Khoach Khris.
Rivers is doing a good job coaching, but Lillard begging to get back in the game late in an intentional foul situation was head shaking.
Weak crowd (numbers-wise) due to last minute scheduling and the early start.
Nice to win, but not a nice win. Too close against a hobbled team on yourhome court.
Mosely impressive, getting rookie contract players to fill roles that typically don't lead to hefty contracts.

Yep… people complaining are downright fools to not understand the impact he had.bucksfansince88 wrote:Came to show some appreciation for Khris that was one of the best zero point games played. He just impacts winning, no way we get off to the slow start like we did if he was ready to go

That is my prediction
If Doc wises up and sits Brook vs Kat we have a shot.
Wont we have to play mosy likely the thunder if we win our side of the brackett.

Yup, and the next game on our side of the bracket is the winner of Knicks/Hawks tonight.

Yes. But I see it more like destiny thing. We won 2021 title after we got Hawks in east finals.
If we get Hawks in cup east final its over

68.8% in last 5 minutes with team 5 points or less away from the other. That’s in 10 games this year on 16 attempts.
77.8% in last minute over 9 games on 9 attempts.

Re: PG Orlando: On to Vegas
Thoughts from the front lines of last night's game:
1) I sat in Row 21 with the suburban folks. I like it. I was the one in the Rosetta Tharpe t-shirt. I was shocked none of you came by to say hello.
2) The Magic coach is good, but he now ranks near the top of most annoying coaches. I've seen a lot of complainers, but he spent almost every timeout chewing out the refs, particularly those not named Scott Foster. It was constant and his assistants worked the other ref during timeouts. And by the fourth quarter his complaining was working.
3) Brook Lopez's reaction time has slowed down. Magic was just too quick and too small for him to react to.
4) KM is smart, but he too looked slow. Hopefully it will improve, but these players are very quick and KM was having a hard time, despite his assists. I also really cringe when he thinks he can dribble thru quicker players. That isn't smart.
5) Suggs had Dame locked up. Why Orlando allowed the Bucks to switch off him is weird to me. Orlando should have done everything they could to keep Suggs on Dame.
6) The only other question I have is do the BP haters want him to have good games or would they rather be proven right?
Bucks lose handily without BP's first half points and all around game. He has become a much better passer. 22-10-4 with no turnovers last night.
7) Something has to be done with Giannis and Dame's turnovers. Not only do they contribute to being outshot in a lot of games, but they lead to easy buckets. It's simple to correct if the coach emphasizes it.
8) OKC looks like a team on another level.
9) Green (I refuse to call him Dairy Bird) was outstanding on defense. He played Suggs the best of anyone on the Bucks.

I’m not eating crow for Bobby but he was good. 0pts for Khris in 20mins gotta be a new career low for him? Not sure I’ve ever seen him score 0pts and play that much..
Freak Time continues to carry this team. Lack of viable depth, lazy defense and poor rebounding continues to hinder it.
On to Vegas, Go Bucks!
I'm gonna guess yes.

You can see it when he slingshot it from the corner, but when AJ gets a J....chief's kiss.

Appreciate Giannis as much as you can while he's still here. Should also make it a point to appreciate the Khris/Giannis duo before it's gone. He'll go down as the most underappreciated (at times outright hated) Buck of all-time.

I'm not a huge fan of building statues of people, but when the inevitable statue of Giannis is erected outside of Fiserv, it should include Khris lobbing him an oop.

Maybe BigO is lactose intolerant.

Green is the opposite of dairy. One is vegan and the other is full fat.
Plus, when you give someone a nickname referencing one of the greatest players of all time, there should be some similarity other than pigmentation.
I plead guilty to bni; bad nickname intolerance.

Do we think the players just don't listen to the coaches when it comes to boxing out and showing effort on the boards?
It is CRAZY how our guards neither box out nor go to the ball. If there's a long rebound, we're just ****. There was one last night that bounced in front of Trent and Cole Anthony literally ran around him to get it.
