Yup. One of the past challenges of this was out lack of players that could beat a closeout off the dribble. Rollins ability in this area is really exciting, we need more players like him.

There is a difference. Doc is worse. I was so happy when Griffin was fired. He still wasn't the solution, but Doc was a problem.

If I know they were going to panic hire Doc, I really wish they'd just hung onto Griffin. At least he could of grown into the position a bit. But no, we panic, fire him (rightfully), and hire an already retired dinosaur.

A guy not being able to shoot when open that's done it well all his life doesn't have anything to do w/ talent. I don't even think forgetting how to defend, a new skill for a year and a half, is either. It was probably some physical malady, that's disappeared lately.

It's more what he can do if a d keys on him, which is good for our offense, if Giannis & Dame are out there. But Rollins can supplement even when they are, while when they aren't has more answers to resistance, then even less match-ups that can give him issues on the other end.

Rollins' concerns for offensive consistency are due to his dislocated shoulder. I think those still remain. There's been no shortage of 0-fers and rough shooting #'s. Nobody's consistent on this team, outside Giannis. We're taking leaps of faith in the playoffs, to varying degrees, otherwise.

I know this is an opinion that’s in the minority, but the team isn’t super far away from where they need to be.

To be clear, they need a great decision making off-season.

That will involve a new GM and a new coach, but I think there’s a few pathways to return to contention that aren’t absolute miracles.

I think it could be done by keeping Dame, and then using our assets to bring in a more capable 3rd option. Get a coach like Jenkins to maximize role-players, and run more sensible sets, consistently.

I think we could also move off Dame, and bring back a couple players who we think are on the verge of breaking out, and also improve. That vision likely involves the team getting more capable offensive and defensive players at all 5 positions. Basically, getting better defensively in space everywhere, and getting guys who can do more than catch and shoot on offense.

Things have to break our way, but I think there’s fairly plausible outcomes that could have us right back to where we need to be.

I agree that both pathways are plausible. Makes me feel more optimistic than before.

Using what assets to get a third option? There aren't many assets. That's the problem.

I think the Bucks still think Kuzma is their third wheel. They still are isolating him for some sets, as if he is a positive offenisve force.

Bobby and Brook should come before Kuzma. Kuzma should be mostly off ball if hes willing to accept that.

34-45 inside the arc.

Since the team meeting, and Doc's emphasis on quicker ball movement, the offense is showing signs of life, and was cranking the last 2 games. Turnovers have gone up, a byproduct of quicker reads, hopefully just an adjustment period.

Also just helps that guys have made shots.
