CV can still be very effective coming off the bench. He can play as many or more minutes off the bench as he can as a starter.

It is more important to finish games than to start games. That's when the best players should be on the court.

I think Charlie V. gets better matchups coming in against 2nd string players. And Charlie V. can run, hustle, and rebound more as a reserve as well. I'd predict a decline in his effectiveness if he began starting this year.
