Maybe there was reason why they didn't do that when Mike was here
Here is why I think we are winning:
1. Redd isn't covering opposing shooting guards who are too quick for his defensive feet.
2. Ivey's defense of point guards is great and takes Mo out of covering guys who are quicker offensively than he is defensively
3. The bench is more motivated because they are sitting watching TEAM basketball and aggressive DEFENSE which is more fun to see and be a part of then the Micheal Redd show
Solution for when Redd is back:
1. Keep starting Ivey at point
2. Keep starting Mo at the 2 (he's more natural there and will handle the ball from that position better then Redd)
3. Start Redd at 3 (he would dramatically improve that position for us - he wouldn't have to handle the ball as much, just shoot open jumpers from the weak side and score on offense like he did on team USA which suits him better.
4. If Mo or Redd start getting scored on, bring in Chalie #1 (Bell)
5. Don't trade Charlie #2 so that when Yi is struggling help (and offense) is on the way.
6. Mason off the bench when he comes back
7. If you need to make a trade, keep Ivey and the Charlies - make available Simmons, Gadz, ect.
