He gave out his Xbox Live tag today. One of the few times I wish I had a 360 instead of my PS3.

The halftime twitt actually motivated me.That's why I did it, plus of course to keep you guys in the loop of some live action.

Umm.. this post is in the 1st person's pov. Am I the first to notice this? I thought the only Charlie (or Buck for that matter) that posted on here was Bell.

If this is CV31.... hey man you are an awesome player and keep up the good work. Honestly, you are the best 4 that I've seen on the Bucks (2nd would be Vin Baker - 3rd ??? Frank Brickowski lol - I'm only 29) It would be a shame if we lost you due to the salary cap.

Peace D.R. and yes, I'm dat gangsta.

Dude that's not CV. He just copy and pasted that from CV's twitter page and didn't use quotes.

Ok, good. I figured there was a reason noone was jumping on that one.

Seriously though, bucks history buffs... have we ever had a better 4 than CV?

(p.s. V, if you read this, how about a twitter shout out to realgm and DRod. Peace)

Vin Baker was better than CV. No question.

No kidding. You can't just have 2 months of great play and be the best PF in franchise history. If he played like this for 2-3 seasons I could see it. Hopefully we resign this guy so we give him that chance!

Just thought I'll add and clarify to the whole halftime twitting... the guys normally get about 2-3 minutes of downtime, where they get a chance to refresh, after the coaches are done doing their thing, right before stepping out of the locker room to the court. CV posted his twitter message shortly after the coach speech, right before heading out. It didn't caused any team inference, plus he delivered on his statement. Let's just enjoying the twitting and stop being so political and/or technical; it's just a tweet or twitt - whatever the kids are saying now days, lol.

Thx,
Rob V.

Sweet, now we have CV's brother posting. He needs to get CV to sign up so he's invited to Charlie Bell's pizza party. :D

I like the audience we have. Basically, we're the place where anyone connected with the organization looks to see popular opinion and get information. I can guarantee that if Kohl doesn't read this forum daily, someone close to him does. So say hi to everyone who is secretly reading our forum. I bet Larry Harris even reads it regularly. It's nice when players like Charlie Bell actually join and interact with us. I hope CV does the same soon.

I have absolutely no doubt that probably every player on the team either reads this forum or has somebody close to them (like their brother...) read it.

That's why it's such a shame that 99% of the posts here are against our own players. Sure they all have their flaws, but have you noticed something about this team? Every single one of them off the court are great guys. You all hate Redd for his money, but how can you hate him off the court? Same with CV, Bell, RJ, Gadz, etc. We have a team of high character guys and it's great.

I think CV also reads the InsideHoops message boards, or at least the rumors page...he "follows" them on Twitter.

The Bucks are very much aware of this forum. There's no question about that.

I agree completely and I'd add that it's no accident that things have worked out that way. I'm certain that's part of the reason Hammond targeted guys like RJ and Ridnour instead of low character equivilants this offseason (think Josh Howard and Tinsley for example) just as I'm sure that's part of the reason a couple of guys were traded. I suspect it would also have a bit to do with why JA was drafted over Randolph for example, though I don't want to get into a JA debate....

Hammond has made a conscious effort to instill a character in this team and I think the primary reason for that, apart from the blatantly obvious, is that he knows he's got an extremely demanding coach who is going to be hard on these guys. Part of the reason Skiles ran into trouble in Chicago is because he had guys like Curry etc in the locker room who couldn't (or didn't want to) handle the heat Skiles put on them so rebelled against him - you just aren't likely to get that from character guys like RJ, Redd, Ridnour, even Bogut/CV etc who despite being apparently good guys have struggled at times with motivation or direction.
When it comes to personalities on this team over the next several years you are much more likely to find a high character RJ/Ridnour/CV type than you are a Z-Bo/Tinsley/Artest type, I for one am extremely happy about that.

chevelle2, the post that you quoted on page #5 of this thread was info that was copied out of some recent CV tweets/twitters/posts/messages/whatever you want to call them.
