Kidd's literally the only guy on the entire Mavs team who has been any good tonight - and he's sitting on the bench as they get put away.

Age has caught up to them. It can happen on a dime in the NBA. This core of players is done as a contender.

It doesn't look like age to me so much as it is disinterest. Dirk doesn't even look like he gives a damn right now.

It's the easy answer, but their oldest guy has been their best player tonight.

I think mentally they realize it too. They are just outmatched athletically across the board. They just look mentally beaten down like they know they can't win.

Again it's an easy answer, but I don't think so. They could easily be up 2-0 right now, should be at least 1-1 so it's not like they haven't been competitive.

I just think they've played like ish. Dirk in particular has been woeful, Marion disgusting, almost everyone else poor to very poor. As I said Kidd is pretty much the only guy who has stood up.

They had a horrendous first 2 minutes and have never recovered.

Dirk just taking terrible shots now while OKC hit open 3's and layups on the other end.

to me, this is always what dirk has been and why i was never a fan. an absolutely incredible jumpshooter, that doesn't have much to fall back on in the rare times that they don't drop for him.

Yeah he's proved your point perfectly tonight. Just about as bad as you'll ever see him play, and a pretty epic choke job for a superstar when his team desperately needed him to step up.

They won their ring last year, its pretty much we'll do what we can do until Deron comes next year.

Durant has had three shots in the second half...did I see that right? That why I don't like Westbrook..

i'm glad i got to see him, and see him team up with another top (i'll go 25 right now just because i'm not willing to argue about it) player.

Dirk getting some nice stat padding now in junk time, his line will end up looking OK despite him playing like crap when the game was on.

I don't care about the other part, but I feel so lucky to have been watching ball through his career. I don't give a f what the stats say, the best I've ever seen by so far it's not funny.
