Three songs into the new Eminem and it's shockingly great.

I haven't liked a Marshall album since Recovery, this album is good he's back. I'm loving the shots at Buddens and CTHAGod.

Mac Miller was found dead today from an apparent overdose. My guess would be heroin laced with fentanyl, he looked as if he'd been doing smack for a while now.

Super sad, but celebrities (and everyone) needs to smarten up about drugs. Doesn't matter how much you pay for them, they're probably not what you think they are.

Mac Miller was very talented, it's so sad it ended up this way. Drugs are such a slippery slope

Most people OD on relapse because they don't have their previous tolerance. This epidemic is crazy, I never imagined it would get this bad and it continues to accelerate. Estimated 49,000 2017 deaths after 42,000 in 2016 and 33,000 in 2015. Almost the entire increase is in synthetics. In WV, about 1/1700 of the state's total population died of opiate ODs last year. That boggles my mind.

Yeah dude and the rate wasn't much lower in 2016. It's touching everybody in that state.

Just discovered these two really interesting albums on YouTube music, worth checking out.

1. Muchacho from Phosphorescent (indie - folk/country/rock)
2. An Awesome Wave from Alt-J ( indie-experimental/pop)

Muchacho is very good. Song for Zula was one of my favorites from that year...whatever year it was. Can't recall.

An Awesome Wave is an indie classic. Great album.

Mac Miller news is crazy. I still can’t believe he’s gone didn’t even reach his full potential yet.

It’s really about the underlying depression. Medicate from pain from repressed feelings.. Find drug that is very effective at masking that pain. It becomes less effective. You use more and/or mix it up. You die.

You can’t think your way out of addiction. It’s the thinking that gets you their in the first place.

Love the Kurt Vile. He’s the bees knees.

Him and War on Drugs are a-okay in my book.

Past Matt was looking out for Future Matt. At some point many years I must have uploaded my entire mp3 collection to the Apple iTunes cloud and subsequently forgot about it. Tonight I was looking for a song not on Youtube or Spotify or Amazon but it was still in this cloud library in iTunes, an app I haven't really used in, I dunno, eight years? Dropped me down a wormhole of my mp3 collection I'm guessing I've been paying for for a long time. Worth it.
