Oh really? Do it with DJW then ... he has more natural skills than Wood
More natural skill? At what level? Wood is clearly the more gifted athlete and scorer. His problem has always been mental but he's shined everywhere that has given him opportunity. Wilson hasn't shown anything when given the opportunity outside of a handful of games his sophomore year.
Could have something to do with coach Bud looking like he wants to rip his own head off instead of watching Wood, Thon, DJW, etc... run around looking clueless on defense concepts and playing without physicality ... he needs heady, reliable, and physically tough players in the front court.
Offensively DJW is fine. He can do just about everything. He can shoot, dribble, pass... he's also long and can jump well --- his problems are playing the defensive system presented to him and not playing physical enough.
