Levine 51 points in a 16 point loss
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I was just going to post how they nailed the Duren pick. I also love Thompson even though his offensive numbers are trash so far. Both of the Thompsons know how to play.
Now they just need Cade to look like the excellent shooter he projected to be because his overall game is great.

I know they made the playoffs for the first time in forever last season but I still can't believe the Kings traded away Haliburton.

Hopefully the sixers don't get any good role players for Harden. Feel they could still be really good if they don't bring back a fat harden.

I agree, I was actually pretty impressed by them in our game Thursday. Maxey seems to just keep getting better and better. Embiid/Maxey and a good group role players would be an easy bet to be the 3rd best team in the east IMO. They might still be the 3rd best in the east as they stand right now before they even get anything for Harden.

Yea maxey is the real deal. Crazy speed and good finishing ability and he’s also a legit shooter with range.

Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Jalen Duren has been awesome to start the new season. Pistons have a real keeper there. Franchise copped a lot of **** for overpaying Monty but they’re looking pretty decent.

I would love for Lowry to take the ball out of Maxey’s hands.

Re: Around the League
I thought Embiid looked out of shape again in game 1.
In the 4th quarter: 4 points on 2 of 8 shooting, 0 of 2 from 3-point, 2 rebounds. 4 assists was the lone bright spot. If he generates his typical output, the Sixers win that game.
You can't draw too many conclusions early in the season, especially when so many veterans are treating the start of the regular season like training camp. But the Sixers will be a second tier team if Embiid is not a 4th quarter factor. I think Nurse will complicate things more by playing Embiid a career record number of minutes this season - exceeding his 34.6 mpg from last season. The dude could be exhausted at the end of games lugging his big frame around.

6 straight in Minnesota with Jimmy skipping all of them is what I saw noted. Guess he didn’t like when they chanted “Rachel Nichols” at him.

I’ll never forget reading the article on Embiid that talked about how his diet was mainly milkshakes.

I think i'm just getting old, and fantasies of supreme athletic dominance are fading- but I could still be taken by the fancy of dominating milkshakes. It's achievable.

Re: Around the League
That loss last night by Miami would be a little worrisome if I was a Heat fan. Last year Butler missed 18 games and the Heat went 9-9 in those games. Even best case scenario that number probably doesn't appreciably decrease, I'd be surprised if he played more than 67 even if he was pretty much fully healthy all season. For the sake of argument let's say he misses exactly 18 again, I doubt they go 9-9 again and I'm guessing they'd probably go 5-13 or even 4-14 depending on who they were playing. And that could be the difference between a 5-6 seed and 9-10.

Re: Around the League
If the Nuggets are healthy they’re going to ruin the West in the playoffs. Only team with a chance is Phoenix if KD/Booker/Beal are healthy and playing lights out.
In the finals they deserve to be favored against Boston or us, although I think both have a chance.
