I don't think so unfortunately. Who is even available at this time?

Scariolo and Itoudis?
Wouldn't mind giving one of them a chance at least until the playoffs.

I think I'd rather just roll with Prunty at this point but I'm not all that concerned about Doc either. If you asked me last offseason if I wanted him I'd emphatically say hell no but this situation is so different. The main problems with Doc seemed to be 1) lack of innovation in schemes and 2) choking in the playoffs. Thing is, 1) we need someone who can just pick the low-hanging fruit at this point, and 2) with Griffin I'm honestly not sure we would have gotten to a point where it'd be considered a "choke."

Wonder what's going on in the head of Trevor Gleeson. Just got here because of Griff lol.

Its gonna be Prunty isn’t it?

How do you bring in a new outside permanent hire midseason? Logistics seem too hard.

Rivers’ career has hit rough patches, potholes and he’s driven at least three franchises off the cliff, but Rivers’ agent always finds a way to damage organizations from within. Rivers has more lives than Jason Vorhees.

It’s also jarring to witness Philadelphia’s more cohesive offensive unit since losing Harden and Rivers. His rotations, the execution and outdated offensive philosophy have been found wanting in recent years. The league has evolved since Rivers’ crowning achievement in 2008 with the Boston Celtics, but he hasn’t caught up to the times. Nurse overhauled the Sixers offense to resemble the Denver Nuggets’, Harden was shipped to the Clippers, and ran more of their offense through Embiid and sailed through the East.

Philadelphia’s free-flowing offense highlights just how much potential Rivers’ Sixer squads squandered. Rivers is really the Bucks’ only option. He has them cornered unless the they decide to ride with veteran assistant Joe Prunty for the duration of the season. Then again, if they wanna drudge up the fossils of a retread, maybe they should look to Mike Budenholzer.

The whole premise of this article is that Rivers couldn't coach offense and Nurse has unleashed their offensive potential.

This season Sixers are 4th in offense. Last season under Rivers they were third. So the article is BS.
On defense , though, the Sixers have improved from 8th to fourth.

Dave Joerger should be considered if defense is the thing.

Milwaukee has also formulated a short list of candidates that includes Jeff Van Gundy and Nate McMillan, sources say.

We should take Doc now with a promise to sign a 5 year deal as the best payed HC in the NBA if he brings the title this year. If not we're having a good search for a coach who has a good plan with our roster for the next few years.

Bringing back Bud is really stupid and won't happen. He blew 4 good playoff chances and was lucky once.

Somewhat concerned that the Bucks didn't have someone lined up before this all went down.

And when they lost to Boston over 7 games they had a 110 ORTG which would've put them 29th in the league last season.

They also got rid of one of the best offensive players in NBA history and didn't miss a beat.

Just waiting for the inside scoop about what was going on behind the scenes with the Bucks to leak in some feature-length article from Shams or Woj.

We don't know that they didn't/don't and all this is just a screen to not look like jerks for interviewing a replacement while you still employed Griff.

I'd be shocked if the new HC isn't introduced tomorrow.

I mean I don’t know that I’d want to commit to a big Atkinson contract right now either.

So you want to hire a coach to be a lame duck coach for 1/2 a year.Omg might as well let prunty do it thrn you aint getting anyone to do that job as a lane duck
