Still waiting for the Bucks to sign any one of the numerous intriguing young centers available to a 2 way deal. Dominic Barlow, Orlando Robinson, Oliver Sarr, JT Thor, Moussa Diabite...

He's a great shooter, but man, is he a poor FT shooter in relation.

He could have one of the highest TS% in the league if he made more FTs.

The Bucks had to have known Giannis was nowhere near coming back, and when Dame got injured, we really had zero chance of going anywhere in the playoffs. I'm impressed with Khris for gutting it out, but what was the point? I wonder if he could have avoided these ankle surgeries if they had just shut him down also. So what if we get blown out by 50 by the Pacers.

Check KM's bonus structure.. I think he had 6 or 8 million reasons to play and finally play hard.

this would be a dumb post even if it weren't factually incorrect

German Athens wrote:there was a proposal on the trade board where Philly would send them two firsts for Eason, and most of the Houston fans laughed that off. Giving up two firsts for a largely unproven player would be pretty unprecedented, but I see where Houston is coming from. Eason has all defense written all over him, he’s young and under team control, and they are in no rush to make those tougher decisions yet.

Idk there’s been plenty of talk about Houston wanting to move to win now sooner than later.

If the Bucks could facilitate a star their way that’d probably be our best bet. Not sure how Lauri would fit but plenty of smoke that Ainge would deal him for an Ainge kind of price.

We also talked about Middleton scenarios earlier in the offseason. With the Bucks getting GTJ and with PG13 off the market maybe both teams would look at it differently.

From what they're saying it sounds like he's almost back on the court.
So, he's progressing. Great.

Playing with Eason scenarios, this one technically 2 separate deals, noting this is rough but SpoTrac trade machine says it works:

Trade 1
Bucks trade: BroLo, 2031 first
Bucks receive: Dillon Brooks, Trade 2 assets

Pelicans trade: Ingram
Pelicans receiver: BroLo, Jeff Green, Bucks 2031 first

Rockets trade: Dillon Brooks, Jeff Green
Rockets receive: Ingram

Trade 2
Bucks trade: Pat Connaugnton
Bucks receive: Tari Eason, AJ Griffin

Doesn't work, Lakers can't take back salary.

I would see if Utah would do Marjon for Bazely straight up.

With the wing additions they made, maybe look for a similarly underachieving mobile big to trade Marjon for? Maybe both teams try for a change of scenery. Two birds with one stone as it clears out some wing glut on our roster while getting the one type of player they're still missing. If we get lucky maybe we can fix him and get a backup big who's different than our others? I don't know who that guy would be and would have to spend more time than I want on digging, but some other floundering late 1st rd pick from the last 3 drafts.

Christian Koloko is a free agent. He was a high second rounder a few years back, but he has to be medically cleared to play (blood clots) for a team to sign him. If he does get clearance, he will have suitors.

Correction, he is cleared to play. Hope the Bucks are interested in him.

He showcased himself alongside a who’s who of former Bucks and Austin Rivers

The 7-foot center was joined by fellow free agents DJ Wilson, Thon Maker, Cory Joseph, Austin Rivers, Brandon Boston Jr., Talen Horton-Tucker, Juan Toscano-Alexander, and two-time NBA All-Defensive guard Eric Bledsoe.

I thought it was a higher number and some thought it even affected our tax apron status. Where can I read the details?
