The funny thing is when we as fans see something weird and feel like a game was fixed for whatever reason fans will go "oh yeah, cuz the NBA really cares who wins a random Hornets vs Bucks (for example) game in the middle of November."

Then you see stuff like this and it kind of validates your feeling... that yes someone does care enough to fix the game.

With Windy saying the NBA forced Rozier to sit out the balance of the season with a fake injury, literally every narrative is now up for grabs.

Although I'm walking back some of my comments about this being a waste of FBI resources (It was bigger than just sports betting and involved the mob?) but this clip is exactly why I abhor sports gambling. You are a radio show host for a contender and you are losing you **** over your team winning by 10 instead of 8.Get the f out of here. You are upset a meaningless line bet that could easily be manipulated without skepticism was manipulated? Ok if he bet straight up on Portland winning and Chauncey pulled that ****? sure. Issue is the west is too good to punt the regular season and coast, but I also dont trust both Jimmy staying for the whole year and Steph not slowing down due to age come May.

Nothing needs to change gambling-wise as far as eliminating props. Every legit company uses algorithms to detect when an inordinate amount of money has been bet on a specific game or prop. That's how this was discovered.

The NBA on the other hand needs to institute lifetime bans for being caught instead of this sweeping it under the rug stuff.
