The Bucks may have realized that both Lamb (10) and Ross (11) will be gone so leaving pick 12 for 14 makes even more sense.

If Portland goes with Lillard at 6, a big will be the pick at 11, guaranteed. It's either Drummond/Ross or Lillard/Zeller IMO.

No way in hell Portland takes Zeller. Ross will be the pick at 11 unless he's gone. The decision will be Drummond or Lillard at 6.

I HOPE Ross is there, but I don't think he makes it past Portland....and I believe the Bucks knew that.
But will lamb or TJones be there at 14? I see that PJIII is going too Houston for a 2nd look.

The Warriors proposal of #7 for Chandler has been debunked as myth FWIW.

Mike, I think Perry Jones is going to be a career underachiever along the lines of a Tim Thomas. DO NOT WANT.

Can't really endorse Terrance Jones from Kentucky since we will have a logjam at his position. At 14, I see the Bucks taking one of these three if available:

1. Lamb
2. Ross
3. Leonard

Honestly, if they re up Ersan I could see this team being pretty damn solid, maybe FTDish type team. But as the roster stands today, its probably the worst offensive front court in the league. Four good defenders there, but wow a lack of offensive skill.

Everyone has their draft favorites, but if they lucked into Lamb at 14 (I like him better than Ross) and re-sign Ersan, they should be a 42-win team.

I still wish they would drop a big money offer sheet on Eric Gordon to see what happens.

I thought they were about a .500 team with Ersan and before Dalembert. If they re up Ersan and get a guy in the draft that can add shooting, I think this team wins 45 or more. Which for this franchise is basically a title. Without Ilyasova though, wow our front court is bad offensively.

My preference has changed to:

Lamb
Ross
T Jones
Leonard

Barring Waiters dropping which I just can't see.

Agreed. By elimination, I think the choice will come down to Leonard versus Rivers.

I don't think Rivers will be there at 14.

Leonard might, and Ross might, so it could be between those. I'd like to think the Bucks take Ross easily over Leonard too, but idk.

I think Ross wiil be gone before 14, since Lamb has too many red flags.

Still hope we trade up, even if it's to target Drummond who I don't really like at all. It's just the perfect gamble that this franchise needs to take.

Which is why it won't happen.

In the WSSP interview Hammond seemed pretty adamant that they view this as a 14 player draft before the tier breaks down again, hence no gamble in moving down from 12 to 14. i.e. they'd get someone they like guaranteed.

Ford's mock has Leonard and Zeller both gone before we reach 14. The question is what happens if only one of those guys is taken and one is left for us? Maybe they don't care and would be happy either way.

This deal is low upside and low risk, sensible you might say. I think it is going to be a guy at 14 that hasnt been highly mocked in the top 15, like R White, M Harkless, or Barton. It will be fun to monitor the internet for breaking news tomorrow, one of my favorite days of the year.

+1

And I like the idea of taking a shot on Drummond. Big risk but the type of gamble this franchise needs to take. I think adding Dalembert to the C spot for this year makes it easier to take a chance on Drummond.

The Blazers NEED a center. I'll guarantee that they take a big with #11 if they choose to go Lillard at 6. Hell, Zeller might not even be there. The Hornets loved Zeller and may take him #10. Then the Blazers/Rockets take Leonard at 11/12. Drummond, Zeller and Leonard will all be gone before 14. Bookmark it, do whatever you want. We will be "forced" to choose a wing. Whether it be Ross, Lamb, PJIII or Harkless.
