Probably has been answered before but long story short. I want to be able to use my PS4 in my room but leave my PS4 in the living room on the other side of the wall. I read about Playstation TV and those were discontinued so they skyrocketed in price. Any good ideas out there short of cutting in boxes for an hdmi. Not even sure if the Ps4 has 2 HDMI ports

See if you can pick up a HDMI transmitter for a decent price, you should be able to have one that has HDMI in + out so you don't have to stress about how many outputs your PS4 has. It should just work as a splitter, so PS4 -IN-> Transmitter -OUT-PHYSICAL-> Current TV && OUT-TRANSMIT-> Other TV.

Don't go too cheap on it if you go that option, look into reviews for any lag if you can- you can probably find some pretty cheap ones that might still have some latency but from mid price upwards you should be able to get something that doesn't have any. Not sure if the lag will be too painful for fancy games even on high end kit, but might be worth a look.

PoE 3.6 reveal was today. It comes out in about 2 weeks. Looks cool, but I might be sitting this league out with how much else is in my backlog rn.

My only time to game anymore comes during the day when I'm at work and I'm bored or in between projects (I love my job). I've got Steam on my machine and a copy of Civ VI. Seems like the perfect work game to play on breaks or when I'm waiting on other people for something.

Going through tuts and I think I'm gonna enjoy it.

My only time to game now-a-days is around 9pm until my eyes get too heavy and I fall asleep. The other free time I have goes to Bucks/Badgers.

I'm a little bummed Crackdown 3 was such trash but not surprised. I think when it drops to $20 I'll pick it up for nostalgias sake. Anthem doesn't seem too exciting either after the demo was unbearable and it seemed too similar to Destiny.

Talk about a gaming lull for me...still playing the same 3 games. Apex Legends has been a welcome addition but I can only play for 30-60 minutes before I get bored.

This year, early on, seems pretty weak. Unless there’s a surprise indie hit, I think I’m waiting all the way until July to buy Fire Emblem as my first game of the year. Maaaaaaybe June for Mario Maker 2 if I’m feeling it after seeing more details.

The whole “we’re pulling out of Steam two weeks before launch for Epic’s larger cut, if you don’t buy it there we won’t launch our games on PC anymore” fiasco kind of turned me off.

I don't know much about it; heard about it, didn't do any research. I'm sure there was some shady stuff going on. That said, Steam is basically a monopoly and I'm sure has plenty shady dealing in its own right. I mean I love Steam, but being real I'm sure it's not rainbows and sunshine business dealings.

ETA: Actually, the more I read into this, the more I am 100% behind 4A and Deep Silver. All Steam pre-sales were honored. Way higher cut on profit for them through the Epic games store. This is NOT a big developer, and gaming is not a big profit business. Steam needs a competitor. This is a no-brainer IMO.

Division 2 Open Beta from March 1st-4th.

Really looking forward to giving it a try, I didn't get an invite to the closed beta that they had a couple weeks back.

I really enjoyed the first installment, so I hope this one is just as good. PvP'ing in the Dark Zone with a full squad of friends was probably the most fun I've had this console generation.

Pillars of Eternity 2 is really freaking good. I'm not the biggest fan of the ship fighting elements that were incorporated, but they also aren't bad - just not what I came here for and not fully fleshed-out. The story, the characters, the classes, and the combat are all great, though. It's not the Baldur's Gate 2 of current gen, no, but it's hard to stack up against my personal GOAT. And this is the closest thing you can get to it with the CRPG genre effectively dead otherwise.

I have two trips coming up. My goal is to finish this before the second of those trips, so that when I get back I can focus on PoE's 3.6 release (talking Path of Exile now). While on said trips, I'll be playing Octopath again and I think I'm getting close to maybe 75% completion. I'll definitely be seeing that one through before FE drops.

And I still have Civ 6 waiting when I am free. And finishing AC Odyssey sometime...maybe. And I need to get Spiderman. At this point, probably not going back to Odyssey realistically (I did play 60+ hours and enjoyed the ever living hell out of it), and might wait until a GOTY Spiderman version drops, maybe next BF.

I'm in a really good gaming spot :)

Reviews of Anthem are absolutely brutal. When I watched the IGN review my first thought was, "That's Warframe but with a terrible hub, awful load times, and a bad story you can't skip. Also it's $60 and not free."

Not surprising. BioWare dug their own grave when they killed their excellent single-player franchises in favor of investing all their manpower in a PVP Destiny clone. FYI, I've only ever played Destiny for a few hours, and I fail to see what made it so ground-breaking to the point where it's spawning copy-cat games. More Mass Effect and Dragon Age please.

Vanila Destiny was pretty terrible, but 2.0 (The Taken King) was very fun. Still very grindy but a legit good FPS experience. I didn't, but I could see how fans dumped thousands of hours into it. Destiny 2 removed the grind and in the process removed the reasons to come back and play. I gave up after about three weeks and never went back. Have no idea what the game looks like today.
