Does Bledsoe get to include "bucks fan's personal record AS" on his resume? Would really help his eventual HoF chances imo.

Is there a way to see a stat in regards to Khris's midgame efficiency?

And on a related note, do the Bucks have the best player at the rim (Giannis), the best from 3 (Hill) and the best mid-range game (Khris) of players this year that have legitimate volume?

Basketball-reference gives all these stats.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/middlkh01.html

Halfway down under shooting

It tells you percentage of shots by location and shooting percentages from the location

Mids is shooting 52% from 16ft-3pt range and taking 16% of his shots from there.

Khris's stats from midrange. See 'Shooting'
Players with over 100 midrange shots, sorted by FG%. Not sure how well this translates when you link, but you can re-build if necessary. Khris is 3rd behind CP3 (first) and Love (second).

I dont think any of us question Khris's ability against the trash can teams.

His biggest hurdle to clear is can he be efficient, defend well, and score when we need him to in the playoffs. He was a bucket of ass the further in the playoffs we went. Could have been because he was theorhetically playing for a max contract and just let it get in his head.

Im just glad he's healthy and performing so far. 5 year deals are scary for non-franchise players. I dont care who you are.

When he's in this type of form he should be taking more shots, honestly.

Yes, and some of that is definitely on him. I'm sure it's hard to find a balance between shooting too much and too little, but in games when he's really got it going it's painful to watch him pass up on open three to pass to anyone else for an open three instead.

He seems to be getting better about this lately

I agree. The only recent game that I really noticed it more was Washington.

He's really been pretty incredible this season. I've always thought Bucks fans were far too harsh about him, but even I'm shocked with how he's played this year.

Second time he gets a big new contract and he delivers accordingly. Hopefully he can keep this up with this monster deal.

Feels like Khris has really worked hard to extend his range, he looks a lot more comfortable taking deep 3s than he did a couple years ago.

I do wonder if he's finally 100% back from the hamstring tear. He looks more athletic right now than at any point over the last 3 years.

He is thinner and seemingly in better shape than he has ever been with the bucks. That probably has more to do with it. The summer Olympic team work was good for him.

Maybe, but its not as if he is the kind of player who can get any shot he wants. Seems like part of his recent success is the result of great selection. If he is forcing bad shots just to get a shot off its going to make the team less efficient. He has been showing flashes of being a good passer more than ever so id rather he use his gravity to create for others if he cant get something high percentage.

Absolutely insane to think that there aren't 5 wings playing better ball than Khris Middleton is right now.

He had a stretch against the Pels where he kept us in the game, i think it was in the second quarter. But he largely disappeared in times around that.

We are going to be in trouble though come playoff time if he can't find his shot or generate good looks through the course of the offense. We really need him to be that 22-25ppg guy. Giannis to me lately has been struggling with his ball handling and passing (albeit he did make 2 nice behind the back passes against the Pels). Against the Pels, it seemed to me he was really loose with the ball on his dribble and seemed to be trying way to hard to make things happen. I think this is why he was mad after the game, shaking his head on the bench. He had a fantastic game statistically.. 12-17. But I think he knows he needs to clean up the turnovers.

Last 6 games he has 8,8,3,2,7,5 Turnovers or 5.6 TO pg. Teams are going to start to try to wall him off again come playoff time and force him to overdribble or to make passes under duress. I hope Bud and Giannis have a strategy how to handle this, they did not adapt well versus Toronto last year. One thing is for sure, there are some teams in the East that are serious defensive squads when they want to be. Either way, to circle back. We need Middleton to show up. There is no way around it. Unless someone like Donte starts shooting 40+% for 3 and gets scalding hot in the playoffs ie: Fred Van Vleet last year. But you can't depend on role players to suddenly find God mode.
