Surely Nike will drop their contract with him and maybe even legal action?

The biggest if with Philly is Embiid's health. If they don't have that, they have nothing.

I just don't see it with Simmons at all. I've always thought he was colossally overhyped. He's like a giant Rondo, and that kind of player needs to be in a very specific position (team wise) to maximize their talents

It only takes one dumb GM but man, Phily has no leverage and *should* get taken to the cleaners on a Simmons trade. He became unplayable in a second round series against the Hawks for goodness sake. And he’s on a big contract for several more years. The rumored asking price is absolutely insane to me.

And I say that as someone who really likes his game.

I didn’t think there was much chance the Suns would really set CP3 walk…but maybe Sarver just doesn’t want to spend the money.

Kevin O’Connor reporting there’s “real traction” on a Buddy Hield to Lakers trade which would send Harrell + Kuzma or KCP, and the #22 pick to Sacramento

Get in there with some Donte for #22 action. Secure Butler or McBride.

Could be high enough to get Springer, which has some real George Hill for Kawhi vibes.

We can **** on Kyrie all we want (and I'm sure I will also), but he's doing some terrific stuff with at least a portion of his money and influence that is materially bettering the lives of other people.

Sure, but that really doesn’t give a person the right to be a massive a hole in regards to how they treat the other half of the people they interact with.

We don’t give a pass to a police officer that is respectful and helpful 3/4 of their shifts.

We don’t excuse a physician who has great bedside manner with 1/2 of his patients.

Kyrie has over a hundred million dollars and a significant platform and appears to be a force for good, 1/2 the time (and a spectacularly out of touch arrogant jerk the other half. I think the bar should be higher.

Keith Smith seems to think this is positioning for the Lowry sign-and-trade.

Ok but apply it universally, because most of these guys are just ****.

There is a fine line between "intuitive coach who creates tension to bring out the best in young players" and "a-- hole." It's interesting how any fan or employee of a team that has worked with Jason Kidd place him on one side. And the rest of the league places him on the other.

You cant beat an idiot who tries to be an Ahole. Thank god Giannis was young enough to get over his Stockholm syndrome.

If I'm Portland, I'm doing whatever it takes to pair Simmons with Lillard (in Portland).
