Super lucky to have Gianni as a living legend in the NBA. He is a treasure.
Just finished it, too. There were some childhood/teenage year and early career anecdotes that were interesting and I hadn't heard before, but a lot of it seemed like a consolidation of previously reported news.
She also over-quoted her boss, Bill Simmons, who's not the NBA expert I'd want to hear from in this kind of book. The book also could've use a fact/flow checker. Examples: She said Giannis put on 30 pounds of muscle over a few months his rookie year, which I'm pretty sure didn't happen. She also had MCW joining the Bucks before the Brandon Knight trade. There were a few others I've since forgotten.
Definitely still worth the read, purely because it's Giannis, but a pretty average biography in my opinion. Maybe a non-Bucks fan would enjoy it more since most of the anecdotes would be new to them.
