He only played 13 mins last year so obviously something must still be bugging him and he might never be good for big minutes again.
But if you look past the low minutes, per 36 he was still the same 22/12 kind of guy, with a 60% TS and 42% from 3.

If he can get his body right even a little bit he can be a massive difference maker for the Bucks, and if he can't, well no big deal.
That was a great move.

He's going to have a really good coaching staff and an excellent training staff. Not to mention he's going to be paired on a contender with an unselfish and business-like roster. Most dominant player in the NBA, two really good wingmen and some quality roleplayers. If he screws up that kind of opportunity to prove he can still be productive then he's toast.

I like the move as well.

The Clippers didn't let him play much because they completely tanked when he was on the floor.

I think it's pretty impressive that they were only -10 with him defending the entire court by himself.

Oh, there were other players out there too? And this stat takes absolutely nothing into account regarding the other team's players? I guess that's why there's no complete stat we can judge everyone by, hey.

Yeah this is good. He's big, he can board, he can shoot and I seem to remember him being a pretty reasonable passer. As long as he's ok on defence I'm good with it. And as for playing the Drop, we are pretty good at that, and it's an effective strategy. We can now run out multiple schemes, and we've got some time to work him into them.

I imagine the hedge fund managers must've been taking their time putting a respectable fund management scheme as to why this took so long. Or this is actually an admission that Semi is not another PJ, rather than Brook being broken.

This could be a train wreck, but for now I'm gonna be very happy about it. Time to fire up 2K.

Yeah I'm sure it was everyone else, the Clippers really struggled. Wait, they were good? Well, only good players play in the playoffs, so I'm sure his numbers stabilized then. Wait, he was -21 per 100 in the playoffs.

Don't kill the messenger man, I didn't create these stats. If you watched any of these Clipper playoff games, you'd understand why I'm a skeptic.

The alternative to being a skeptic is believing multiple teams would rather leave a roster spot open than sign a player who's awesome and willing to sign for minimum, without any guaranteed money.

Doesn’t seem like Giannis hates it.

Had to log in for the first time in a while just to and1 Baddy

Anyway, Jrue's a former teammate and almost exactly the same age as Boogie, I imagine he'd have a pretty good read if there were any chemistry concerns

At least it isn't a 37 year Kenyon Martin signing.

"Obviously, Brook is a big part of what we do, can't wait for him to get back healthy, but at the end of the day, without Brook, we don't have another big," Antetokounmpo said. "I feel like it's a lot of load on me and Bobby [Portis] to be those bigs all the time on the court, so just adding another guy, that'll be nice."

Added Budenholzer: "We're playing Giannis and Bobby really as our two bigs right now, so I think when you look at the depth chart and look at how we're subbing and everything, depth at the big position is something that we could use."

So similarly, I can be skeptical about those stats for the reasons I sarcastically mentioned. Absolutely not emotional about this, I think it's important to assess my biases on those stats. Basically I think there's too many holes in them to make any definitive statements on them.

If I'm wrong? He's crap and sits on our bench. I don't really care to be honest.

Look man, I love it. Boogie has seen things, he's been though some sht. He has enough skills left to matter and if nothing else, he's a widebody. That matters.

Prediction: my man is going to be cutting radio spots for Usingers before February wraps up.

I think Cousins will probably be fine on a 12-20 minute per game role. If he's not, they can cut him.
I don't think they will use him defensively like Lopez; he's OK on defense, but he can't take that role.
He can pass. He can rebound. He can shoot. All at average or better for a big. He can defend legitimate 5's OK.
We'll see what kind of shape he's in (basketball and medical-wise).

For perspective, Pat was +0.6 VORP. Closest on the roster last year.
